Women Empowerment through Skill Development – Samoon Stitching Training Centre

Location: Village Tudangi, Near Devprayag, Uttarakhand

Samoon Foundation is taking a step towards women empowerment with the aim of making women self-reliant and strengthening rural communities. In this direction, a Samoon Stitching Training Centre is being established in Village Tudangi, near Devprayag.

The centre will be operated under the guidance of Kumari Neelam, who will train local women and girls in stitching skills, enabling them to become economically independent and confident.

In the initial phase, the centre will start with 5 sewing machines. As more women and girls from the village join the training program, the number of machines will be increased accordingly. In the future, there are also plans to introduce embroidery (kadhai) training to further enhance skill development opportunities.

It is hoped that such initiatives will help rural women become self-reliant, improve their livelihood opportunities, and contribute positively to family income and social development.

Samoon Foundation appeals to all supporters and well-wishers to contribute towards this initiative by donating a sewing machine or offering a small financial contribution to help establish and expand the training centre.

महिलाएं बनेंगी आत्मनिर्भर तो विकसित होगा समाज

स्थान: ग्राम तुड़ंगी, देवप्रयाग के समीप, उत्तराखंड

समूण फाउंडेशन महिलाओं को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने के उद्देश्य से देवप्रयाग के निकट ग्राम तुड़ंगी में एक समूण सिलाई प्रशिक्षण केंद्र स्थापित करने जा रही है।

इस केंद्र में कुमारी नीलम द्वारा गांव की महिलाओं और बालिकाओं को सिलाई का प्रशिक्षण दिया जाएगा, जिससे वे प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर आत्मनिर्भर बन सकें।

प्रारंभिक चरण में यह केंद्र 5 सिलाई मशीनों के साथ शुरू किया जाएगा। यदि अधिक संख्या में महिलाएं और बालिकाएं प्रशिक्षण हेतु आगे आती हैं, तो सिलाई मशीनों की संख्या बढ़ाई जाएगी तथा आगे चलकर कढ़ाई का प्रशिक्षण भी प्रदान करने की योजना है।

समूण परिवार का मानना है कि ऐसे प्रयासों से ग्रामीण महिलाएं आत्मनिर्भर बनेंगी और समाज के विकास में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान देंगी।

समूण परिवार आप सभी से अनुरोध करता है कि इस सिलाई प्रशिक्षण केंद्र के लिए एक सिलाई मशीन दान देकर या छोटी सी आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान कर इस प्रयास में सहयोग करें।

Plantation Drive at Neembich Tapovan on the Occasion of Garh Ratna Narendra Singh Negi Ji’s Birthday

Location: Neembich, Tapovan, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand

On the auspicious occasion of the birthday of renowned Uttarakhand folk singer and Garh Ratna Shri Narendra Singh Negi Ji, a large-scale plantation drive was organized on 11/08/2019 at Neembich, Tapovan, Rishikesh.

On this occasion, a “Samoon Vatika” was developed through Samoon Foundation, which is being further nurtured and envisioned to be developed as “Samoon Van” in the coming years. The plantation initiative witnessed active participation from the Samoon Foundation team along with several environment enthusiasts from the region.

During the event, participants not only planted saplings but also raised awareness about environmental conservation through folk songs, emphasizing the urgent need to protect nature and restore ecological balance.

Samoon Foundation, as part of its environmental responsibility, continues to organize its annual plantation campaign titled “Pedon Se Hai Rishta Hamara,” under which hundreds of saplings are planted every year and cared for until they grow into mature trees.

In the first phase of this year’s plantation drive, trees were planted on 21/07/2019 at Vivek Vihar Society, Haridwar, covering parks and internal lanes. In the second phase, plantation was carried out on 11/08/2019 at Tapovan, Rishikesh, a spiritually significant region near the sages’ land, where efforts are being made to develop the area as “Samoon Van.”

Through such initiatives, Samoon Foundation aims to promote environmental awareness, community participation, and long-term ecological sustainability.

गढ़रत्न नरेंद्र सिंह नेगी जी के जन्मदिन पर पौधारोपण कार्यक्रम

स्थान: नीमबीच, तपोवन, ऋषिकेश, उत्तराखंड

उत्तराखंड के सुप्रसिद्ध लोकगायक एवं गढ़रत्न श्री नरेंद्र सिंह नेगी जी के जन्मदिन के शुभ अवसर पर दिनांक 11/08/2019 को नीमबीच, तपोवन ऋषिकेश में वृहद स्तर पर पौधारोपण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया।

इस अवसर पर समूण संस्था के माध्यम से एक “समूण वाटिका” का निर्माण किया गया, जिसे भविष्य में “समूण वन” के रूप में विकसित करने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है। इस कार्यक्रम में समूण फाउंडेशन की टीम के साथ-साथ क्षेत्र के अनेक पर्यावरण प्रेमियों ने भी उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया और पौधारोपण किया।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान लोकगीतों के माध्यम से पर्यावरण संरक्षण का संदेश दिया गया और प्रकृति को बचाने की अपील की गई।

समूण फाउंडेशन पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति अपनी जिम्मेदारियों के निर्वहन के अंतर्गत हर वर्ष “पेड़ों से है रिश्ता हमारा” कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से सैकड़ों पौधों का वृक्षारोपण करती है तथा उन्हें वृक्ष बनने तक देखभाल करती है।

इस वर्ष के वृक्षारोपण कार्यक्रम के प्रथम चरण में दिनांक 21/07/2019 को हरिद्वार के विवेक विहार सोसाइटी में वृक्षारोपण किया गया, जबकि द्वितीय चरण में दिनांक 11/08/2019 को ऋषिकेश के तपोवन क्षेत्र में वृक्षारोपण किया गया।

इन प्रयासों का उद्देश्य पर्यावरण संरक्षण, जनभागीदारी और सतत विकास को बढ़ावा देना है।

Samoon Foundation – Environmental Conservation Initiative

Samoon Foundation, as part of its commitment to environmental protection, conducts an annual plantation program titled “Pedon Se Hai Rishta Hamara,” under which hundreds of saplings are planted every year. The foundation also ensures continuous care and monitoring of these plants until they grow into fully developed trees.

In the first phase of this year’s plantation drive, trees were planted on 21/07/2019 inside Vivek Vihar Society, Haridwar, covering parks and internal lanes of the locality.

The second phase of the program is scheduled for 11/08/2019 at 10:00 AM in Tapovan, near Rishikesh, a spiritually significant region. This site has been identified with the long-term vision of developing it as “Samoon Van.”

In collaboration with the Forest Department, a barren land has been selected where multiple varieties of plants will be planted, including fruit-bearing, medicinal, flowering, grass, and shade-giving species. The plantation activity will continue over several years with the aim of transforming this barren land into a dense and sustainable forest ecosystem.

The vision of Samoon Foundation is to gradually develop multiple such green zones under the concept of “Samoon Van,” contributing to ecological balance and environmental sustainability.

In today’s world, rapid urbanization, industrialization, infrastructure development, and unplanned exploitation of natural resources have led to large-scale deforestation and environmental degradation. This has resulted in serious ecological imbalance and has contributed to global challenges such as climate change and global warming.

Therefore, it is the responsibility of every individual to plant at least one tree in their lifetime and ensure its care until it matures into a tree.

Samoon Foundation invites everyone to actively participate in this noble initiative. Those who are unable to join physically can contribute ₹250/- per plant and get a tree planted in their name or in the name of their family members in “Samoon Van.” Regular updates, including photographs and growth status of the plant, will be shared with the contributors.

Let us all join hands to build a greener, cleaner, and healthier future for coming generations.

“पेड़ों से है रिश्ता हमारा” – वृक्षारोपण अभियान 2019

समूण फाउंडेशन – पर्यावरण संरक्षण पहल

समूण फाउंडेशन पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति अपनी जिम्मेदारियों के अंतर्गत हर वर्ष “पेड़ों से है रिश्ता हमारा” कार्यक्रम के माध्यम से सैकड़ों पौधों का वृक्षारोपण करती है तथा उन्हें वृक्ष बनने तक सुरक्षित रखने का निरंतर प्रयास करती है।

इस वर्ष के वृक्षारोपण कार्यक्रम के प्रथम चरण में दिनांक 21/07/2019 को हरिद्वार स्थित विवेक विहार सोसाइटी के अंदर पार्कों एवं गलियों में वृक्षारोपण किया गया।

द्वितीय चरण का कार्यक्रम दिनांक 11/08/2019 को प्रातः 10 बजे ऋषिकेश के निकट तपोवन क्षेत्र में आयोजित किया जाएगा। इस स्थान को भविष्य में “समूण वन” के रूप में विकसित करने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है।

वन विभाग के सहयोग से एक बंजर भूमि का चयन किया गया है, जहाँ फलदार, औषधीय, फूलदार, घास एवं छायादार पौधों की विभिन्न प्रजातियों का वृक्षारोपण किया जाएगा। यह कार्य कई वर्षों तक निरंतर जारी रहेगा ताकि इस बंजर भूमि को एक सघन वन क्षेत्र में परिवर्तित किया जा सके।

समूण फाउंडेशन का लक्ष्य ऐसे कई छोटे-छोटे वन क्षेत्रों को “समूण वन” के रूप में विकसित करना है, जिससे पर्यावरण संतुलन और हरियाली को बढ़ावा मिले।

वर्तमान समय में शहरीकरण, औद्योगीकरण, अनियोजित विकास और प्राकृतिक संसाधनों के अत्यधिक दोहन के कारण वृक्षों की भारी कटाई हो रही है, जिससे पर्यावरण असंतुलन उत्पन्न हो रहा है और ग्लोबल वार्मिंग जैसी गंभीर समस्याएँ बढ़ रही हैं।

इसलिए प्रत्येक व्यक्ति का कर्तव्य है कि वह अपने जीवन में कम से कम एक पौधा अवश्य लगाए और उसकी देखभाल कर उसे वृक्ष बनने तक सुरक्षित रखे।

समूण फाउंडेशन सभी से अपील करती है कि इस अभियान में सहभागी बनें। जो व्यक्ति प्रत्यक्ष रूप से भाग नहीं ले सकते, वे ₹250/- की सहयोग राशि देकर अपने या अपने परिवारजन के नाम से “समूण वन” में एक पौधा लगवा सकते हैं। लगाए गए पौधे की फोटो, जानकारी एवं प्रगति रिपोर्ट नियमित रूप से साझा की जाएगी।

आइए हम सब मिलकर आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए एक हरित, स्वच्छ और सुरक्षित भविष्य का निर्माण करें।
