On the completion of *75 years of India's independence*, the entire nation was celebrating *Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav* with great enthusiasm. With a rich cultural heritage, we are moving forward on the path to become *Vishwa Guru* and *Atmanirbhar Bharat*, and today the entire country was adorned with the tricolor.

Working in the direction of *women empowerment, education, and skill training for youth*, the *Samoon Foundation* hoisted the tricolor and organized *Prabhat Feri* at all the centers run by it under the *Har Ghar Tiranga* campaign.

After the inauguration program of *Samoon Sewing Knitting Training Center - Akhodi*, the *Samoon team, students, and all the local residents of the area* were present while taking out the Prabhat Feri.

भारत की आजादी को *75 वर्ष* पूर्ण होने पर *आजादी के अमृत महोत्सव* को समस्त देशवासी हर्षोल्लास के साथ मना रहे थे। समृद्ध सांस्कृतिक विरासत को सजाए *विश्व गुरु* और *आत्मनिर्भर भारत* के पथ पर अग्रसर आज सम्पूर्ण भारतवर्ष तिरंगामय हो चुका था।

"Our Bond with Trees" program(वृक्षारोपण अभियान - 1000 पौधे लगाए गए)

The program started on *25th July* on the martyrdom day of *Shaheed Suman Ji*. This tree plantation program continued for the next few days and, like every year, this year too we successfully achieved the target of planting *one thousand saplings*.

*1000 saplings* were successfully planted and to ensure their growth into trees, we joined hands with villagers and schools for their maintenance on both private and public land. This plantation program was carried out in *2 days at Rajkeeya Inter College, Munakhal, and in villages Saknidar, Seopani, Duni, Chilpad, Munakhal, Avani* etc., where 600 saplings were successfully planted.

During inspection this time, we found that the saplings planted in previous years have now grown into trees. Families who successfully nurtured their saplings into trees are also being given an appreciation letter from the organization.

It is the duty of every citizen to definitely plant a tree in their lifetime and take care of it until it grows into a tree. We cut trees for our selfish needs but forget to plant them, which is why the problem of *global warming* is increasing so much today. 

Let us all come together and definitely plant a tree in our lifetime and take care of it until it grows into a tree.

कार्यक्रम *25 जुलाई* को *शहीद सुमन जी* के बलिदान दिवस पर शुरू हुआ। यह पौधारोपण कार्यक्रम अगले कुछ दिनों तक चला और हर साल की भांति इस साल भी एक हजार पौधों के पौधारोपण के लक्ष्य को हम सफलतापूर्वक पूर्ण करने में सफल हुए।

*1000 पौधों* का सफलतापूर्वक पौधारोपण और पेड़ बनने तक उनकी देखभाल हेतु हम ग्रामीणों और विद्यालयों के साथ मिलकर उनकी निजी और सार्वजनिक भूमि पर यह पौधारोपण कार्यक्रम किये। *2 दिनों तक राजकीय इंटर कॉलेज मुनाखाल, साकनिधार, सेओपानी, दूनी, चिलपड़, मुनाखाल, अवाणी* आदि गांवों में 600 पौधों का सफलतापूर्वक पौधारोपण किया गया था।

इस बार के निरीक्षण पर हमने पाया कि पिछले वर्षों में लगाए गए पौधे आज पेड़ बनकर खड़े हैं। जो परिवार अपने पौधों को पेड़ बनाने में सफल होते थे उन्हें संस्था की ओर से सम्मान पत्र भी दिया जाता है।

प्रत्येक नागरिक का कर्तव्य है कि वह अपने जीवन में एक पौधा अवश्य लगाए और पेड़ बनने तक उसकी देखभाल करे। हम स्वार्थ के लिए पेड़ तो काटते हैं लेकिन पेड़ लगाना भूल जाते हैं जिससे *ग्लोबल वार्मिंग* की समस्या आज इतनी उप होती चली जा रही है। 

आओ हम सब मिलकर अपने जीवन में एक पौधा अवश्य लगाएं और पेड़ बनने तक उसकी देखभाल करें।

Responsibility for the education of Aarushi and Keshav.

 "Samoon Foundation Supports Orphan Siblings' Education in Tehri Garhwal". The Samoon Foundation has undertaken the educational responsibility of orphaned siblings, Arush and Keshav, whose parents are no longer with them. The Foundation has facilitated the payment of the entire annual tuition fee of Rs. 23,560/- for both siblings at Samskar Srijan Vidyalaya in Rishikesh Dwarahal, issuing a check directly to the school. On Friday, June 24, 2022, the Samoon Foundation completed the payment for the academic session 2022-2023 on behalf of Arush and Keshav, residents of Gram Panchayat Borgaon, Patti Dogi, Tehri Garhwal. Under the care of Bhim Singh Devan, a tailor facing financial difficulties himself, the siblings have found a guardian after losing their parents. Recognizing the financial challenges faced by the caretaker in providing education and meeting additional expenses, the Samoon Foundation has committed to supporting their education. In the previous academic session 2021-2022, the Foundation had already paid the annual fee of Rs. 11,000/- to the school. Present on the day of payment, June 24, 2022, were Smt. Sunitha Devi, the school's Principal, along with the manager, Himanshu Panwar, and the siblings Arush and Keshav. Also in attendance were Bhim Singh Devan, his wife Sanju Devi, and Kamal Joshi, the office coordinator of the Samoon Foundation. The Principal expressed gratitude for the Foundation's remarkable commitment to education and hoped for continued support for these children. Over the past six years, the Samoon Foundation has actively contributed to education, granting annual scholarships totalling 3 lakhs rupees to 100 children each year. Additionally, they operate a district-level computer centre in Akhodi, Tehri district, and a rural ideal school in Suman, Rudraprayag district, greatly benefiting rural children.

दिनांक 24/06/2022 समूण फॉउंडेशन ऋषिकेश द्वारा ढालवाला स्थित संस्कार सृजन विद्यालय में कक्षा पांच व कक्षा तीन में अध्यनरत अनाथ भाई-बहिन आरुषि दवाण व केशव दवाण का सम्पूर्ण वार्षिक शैक्षणिक शुल्क तेईस हजार पांच सौ साठ रूपये (23,560/-) का भुगतान  विद्यालय को चेक के माध्यम से  किया गया था ।

आरुषि व केशव मूल रूप से ग्राम पंचायत बोरगांव, पट्टी दोगी, टिहरी गढ़वाल के निवासी हैं जिनके माता पिता का देहांत बहुत पहले हो चूका था  व ढालवाला निवासी इनके ताऊ भीम सिंह दवाण द्वारा इन बच्चों का लालन-पालन किया जा रहा था। भीम सिंह जी की भी आर्थिक स्तिथि बहुत अच्छी नहीं  थी वह पेशे से एक  टेलर हैं जो की बमुश्किल अपने स्वयं के तीन बच्चों का लालन-पालन व शिक्षण कर पा रहे थे ऐसे में आरुषि व केशव की शिक्षा का अतिरिक्त खर्च वहन करना उनके लिए बहुत मुश्किल हो रहा था ऐसे में समूण फॉउंडेशन ने आगे आकर इन बच्चों की शिक्षा की जिम्मेदारी स्वयं पर लेकर पिछले शैक्षिण सत्र 2021-2022 में विद्यालय को इनकी वार्षिक फीस हेतु रु०  ग्यारह हजार (11000/- ) का  किया भुगतान गया व  दिनांक  24.06.2022 को वर्तमान शैक्षाणिक सत्र 2022-2023 की सम्पूर्ण वार्षिक फीस 23560/- का चेक विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य  श्रीमती सुनीता देवी के साथ प्रबंधक हिमांशु पंवार को आरुषि व केशव के ताऊ भीम सिंह दवाण व ताई संजू देवी की मौजूदगी में सुपुर्द किया गया । समूण फॉउंडेशन की ओर से कार्यालय संचालिका संतोषी बलोनी व सदस्य कमल जोशी मौजूद रहे ।

प्रधानाचार्य ने कहा की समूण फॉउंडेशन शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में बहुत अच्छा कार्य कर रही है व उम्मीद जताई कि आगे भी इन बच्चों के लिए समूण फॉउंडेशन सहयोग करती रहेगी। 

समूण फॉउंडेशन पिछले 6 वर्षों से शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में बहुत अधिक कार्य कर रही थी  जिसमे प्रतिवर्ष 100 बच्चों हेतु कुल 3 लाख रूपये की वार्षिक छात्रवृत्ति वितरण व् ग्राम अखोडी जिला टिहरी एवं ग्राम सुमाड़ी जिला रुद्रप्रयाग में दो वृहद कम्प्यूटर सेंटर सहित जिला उत्तरकाशी के सुदूर गाँव ओसला में समूण आदर्श विद्यालय के नाम से विद्यालय संचालित कर रहा है, जिनसे कई ग्रामीण बच्चे लाभान्वित हो रहे हैं।

Assistance Provided to Families Affected by Fire Incident in Village Khera(खेरा गांव में अग्निकांड से प्रभावित परिवारों को सहायता प्रदान की गई)

The house built by *Khin Das and Amar Das* residents of village Khera through their hard work and labor was reduced to ashes in a matter of moments.  

The incident occurred on *31 March*. That day at *10:00 AM* a short circuit caused a fire in the house. An attempt was made to extinguish it, but before anyone could realize, the entire house was burnt down and turned into a pile of ashes. Thank God that this incident happened during the day, so there was no loss of life.  

Everything that the family owned was burnt to ashes that night. The situation was such that the family was forced to live under the open sky and did not even have ration or utensils for food.  

An application was received through the Village Head for assistance to the said family.

ग्राम *खेड़ा, पट्टी - पलीगढ़, जौनपुर टिहरी गढ़वाल* निवासी *खिनदास और अमरदास* जी द्वारा अपनी मेहनत और मजदूरी से बनाया हुआ घर पल भर में ही राख के ढेर में तब्दील हो गया। घटना *31 मार्च* की थी। उस दिन सुबह के *10:00 बजे* घर में शॉर्ट सर्किट की वजह से आग लग गई थी। जिसको बुझाने के लिए प्रयास किया गया लेकिन देखते ही देखते पूरा घर जलकर राख के ढेर में तब्दील हो गया था। भगवान का लाख-लाख शुक्र कि यह घटना दिन के समय हुई इसलिए किसी की जन हानि का नुकसान नहीं हुआ।

इस परिवार के पास जो भी था सब जलकर राख में तब्दील हो गया है। स्थिति यह थी कि परिवार खुले आसमान के नीचे रहने पर मजबूर था और खाने के लिए परिवार के पास राशन और बर्तन तक नहीं थे। ग्राम प्रधान के माध्यम से उक्त परिवार के सहायता-अर्थ एक निवेदन पत्र प्राप्त हुआ था।

टिहरी गढ़वाल निवासी खिलदास और अमरदास जी के घर में शार्ट सर्किट की वजह से आग लगने से सब कुछ जलकर राख की ढेर में तब्दील हो गया था । परिवार के पास राशन, बर्तन और सर ढकने को छत तक नही बची थी ।

पीड़ित परिवार की ओर से समूण परिवार के पास सहायतार्थ एक निवेदन पत्र भेजा था, घटना की गंभीरता को देखते हुए तत्काल पीड़ित परिवारों के लिए बर्तन एवँ खाध्य सामग्री भेजी गई ।

In the cold of January, while many of us stayed warm inside our homes, others were forced to spend their nights under the open sky. Consequently, every year in North India, hundreds of people lose their lives due to the bone-chilling cold, with a significant number being children and women.

The *Samoon Foundation* celebrated the New Year for the past seven years by organizing a blanket distribution program. With the blessings of the Supreme Divine, they brought some respite to those living under the open sky during harsh winters. Once again, the Samoon Foundation prepared to distribute blankets to the needy in the freezing cold last year. Those willing to contribute were invited to transfer an amount of *INR 250* to the Samoon Foundation account, ensuring blankets reached those in need.

The Samoon team conducted surveys and compiled a list of 19 needy families from *Tehri* who requested blankets for warmth. Warm blankets were sent to these families through the Vishwanath Service Bus. It’s important to note that the Samoon Foundation has been organizing blanket distribution programs annually. Starting from January 1st in Rishikesh, this initiative was extended to the *Gautam Gram Panchayat in Jakhni, Lambgaon, Pratapnagar*, where blankets were distributed to 19 selected families, including the elderly, widows, children, and women. The aim was to offer relief to these families amid the harsh winter. The blanket distribution program continued, with plans to distribute warm clothing and socks to children soon.

The Samoon Foundation wished everyone well-being and happiness, expressing gratitude to all donors for enabling these social initiatives. The foundation remained dedicated to serving humanity.

जनवरी की ठंड में, जब हम में से कई लोग अपने घरों में गर्म रहते हैं, वहीं अन्य लोगों को खुले आसमान के नीचे रातें बिताने के लिए मजबूर होना पड़ता है। परिणामस्वरूप, हर साल उत्तर भारत में सैकड़ों लोग हड्डियां जमा देने वाली ठंड के कारण अपनी जान गंवा देते हैं, जिनमें बड़ी संख्या में बच्चे और महिलाएं शामिल होती हैं।

*सम्पून फाउंडेशन* पिछले सात वर्षों से कंबल वितरण कार्यक्रम आयोजित करके नववर्ष मना रहा है। सर्वोच्च ईश्वर के आशीर्वाद से, उन्होंने कठोर सर्दियों में खुले आसमान के नीचे रहने वालों को कुछ राहत प्रदान की। एक बार फिर, सम्पून फाउंडेशन ने पिछले साल की कड़ाके की ठंड में जरूरतमंदों को कंबल वितरित करने की तैयारी की। जो लोग योगदान देना चाहते थे, उन्हें *₹250* की राशि सम्पून फाउंडेशन के खाते में हस्तांतरित करने के लिए आमंत्रित किया गया, ताकि कंबल जरूरतमंदों तक पहुंच सकें।

सम्पून टीम ने सर्वेक्षण किया और *टिहरी* से कंबल के लिए अनुरोध करने वाले 19 जरूरतमंद परिवारों की सूची तैयार की। गर्म कंबल विश्वनाथ सेवा बस के माध्यम से इन परिवारों तक पहुंचाए गए। यह उल्लेख करना महत्वपूर्ण है कि सम्पून फाउंडेशन वार्षिक रूप से कंबल वितरण कार्यक्रम आयोजित करता आ रहा है। *ऋषिकेश* में 1 जनवरी से शुरू होकर, इस पहल को *जखणी, लम्बगांव, प्रतापनगर के गौतम ग्राम पंचायत* तक विस्तारित किया गया, जहां 19 चयनित परिवारों, जिनमें बुजुर्ग, विधवाएं, बच्चे और महिलाएं शामिल थीं, को कंबल वितरित किए गए। इसका उद्देश्य कठोर सर्दी के बीच इन परिवारों को राहत प्रदान करना था। कंबल वितरण कार्यक्रम जारी रहा, और जल्द ही बच्चों को गर्म कपड़े और मोजे वितरित करने की योजना है।
