Cattle have shared a deep connection with human civilization since ancient times. They have played an important role in agriculture, food production, and rural livelihoods. Indian traditions and scriptures have always recognized the significance of cows.

However, the condition of abandoned and helpless cattle in the present era is a matter of concern. Many cows are cared for only while they provide milk, and later they are left helpless on roadsides, where they face hunger, harsh weather conditions, illnesses, and accidents.

While many organizations work for human welfare, some dedicated institutions are also working selflessly for the protection and care of abandoned cattle.

In Devprayag, Aranyak Jan Seva Sanstha established Aranyak Gaushala Centre to provide shelter, food, and care to abandoned and helpless cows. Samoon Foundation highly appreciates and acknowledges this noble initiative.

Due to heavy rainfall, the tin shed of the gaushala was damaged, creating difficulties in protecting the cattle. The organization requested support from Samoon Foundation for repairing the damaged structure.

Samoon Foundation shared the appeal among its respected members and through its social media platforms, seeking support for the renovation work.

With the support of Samoon Foundation, the renovation work of the gaushala operated by Aranyak Jan Seva Sanstha, Devprayag was successfully completed. A total amount of ₹32,000/- was spent by Samoon Foundation for the repair work of the gaushala.

Today, many abandoned cattle are forced to wander without shelter and are exposed to heat, rain, cold, and road accidents. The dedicated efforts of Aranyak Jan Seva Sanstha are helping protect and care for these helpless animals.

गोवंश का संबंध मानव सभ्यता के प्रारंभ से जुड़ा हुआ है। कृषि, अन्न उत्पादन और ग्रामीण जीवन में गोवंश का महत्वपूर्ण योगदान रहा है। भारतीय संस्कृति और शास्त्रों में भी गोवंश के महत्व का विशेष वर्णन मिलता है।

लेकिन वर्तमान समय में बेसहारा और लावारिस गोवंश की स्थिति अत्यंत चिंताजनक है। कई बार गायों को तब तक ही रखा जाता है जब तक वे दूध देती हैं और उसके बाद उन्हें सड़कों पर छोड़ दिया जाता है, जहां वे भूख, मौसम की कठिन परिस्थितियों, बीमारी और दुर्घटनाओं का सामना करती हैं।

जहां अनेक संस्थाएं मानव कल्याण के लिए कार्य कर रही हैं, वहीं कुछ संस्थाएं गोसेवा और पशु संरक्षण के लिए भी निस्वार्थ भाव से कार्य कर रही हैं।

देवप्रयाग में अरण्यक जन सेवा संस्था द्वारा अरण्यक गौशाला केंद्र का संचालन किया जा रहा है, जहां बेसहारा एवं लावारिस गायों की देखभाल, संरक्षण और सेवा की जाती है। समूण फाउंडेशन इस पुनीत कार्य के लिए संस्था की भूरि-भूरि प्रशंसा एवं सराहना करता है।

लगातार बारिश के कारण गौशाला का टीन शेड क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया था, जिससे वहां रह रहे गोवंश की सुरक्षा में कठिनाई उत्पन्न हो रही थी। इसकी मरम्मत हेतु संस्था द्वारा समूण फाउंडेशन से सहयोग का निवेदन किया गया।

समूण फाउंडेशन ने अपने सम्मानित सदस्यों एवं सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म के माध्यम से सहयोग की अपील की। इसके पश्चात देवप्रयाग स्थित अरण्यक जन सेवा संस्था द्वारा संचालित गौशाला के जीर्णोद्धार का कार्य पूर्ण किया गया।

आज भी अनेक बेजुबान गौवंश धूप, बारिश और ठंड में बिना आश्रय के भटकने को मजबूर हैं और कई बार दुर्घटनाओं का शिकार हो जाते हैं। ऐसे बेसहारा पशुओं की सेवा और संरक्षण के लिए अरण्यक जन सेवा संस्था द्वारा किया जा रहा कार्य अत्यंत सराहनीय है।

On 12 January 2022, Samoon Foundation received a request letter from Shri Prakash Chandra Badoni Ji, a resident of Maltha village, Kirti Nagar, Tehri Garhwal, seeking financial support for the treatment of his son Rohit Badoni.

Rohit was suffering from a serious liver-related illness and had been undergoing treatment at a hospital in Vasant Kunj, Delhi for a long time. According to the doctors, a liver transplant was urgently required to save his life. The estimated cost of the transplant was around ₹18–20 lakh, which was beyond the financial capacity of the family.

To support Rohit’s treatment, Samoon Foundation appealed to its respected members and well-wishers to contribute according to their ability and help provide him with a chance for recovery.

Although a large amount could not be collected, Samoon Foundation believes that every small contribution matters. On 22 January 2022, a cheque of ₹11,000/- was handed over at ILBS Hospital, Delhi, and an additional amount of ₹5,100/- was directly transferred to Rohit’s bank account.

Thus, a total support of ₹15,100/- was provided by the respected members of the Samoon Family towards Rohit’s treatment.

समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा रोहित बडोनी के लिवर उपचार हेतु सहयोग प्रदान किया गया

दिनांक: 22/01/2022

दिनांक 12 जनवरी 2022 को समूण फाउंडेशन को ग्राम बोगा सेमवाल गांव, मलेथा, कीर्तिनगर, टिहरी गढ़वाल निवासी श्री प्रकाश चंद्र बडोनी जी का एक निवेदन पत्र प्राप्त हुआ, जिसमें उन्होंने अपने पुत्र रोहित बडोनी जी के इलाज हेतु सहयोग की अपील की थी।

रोहित बडोनी जी लिवर की गंभीर बीमारी से पीड़ित थे और पिछले काफी समय से दिल्ली के बसंत कुंज स्थित अस्पताल में उपचाराधीन थे। चिकित्सकों के अनुसार समय रहते लिवर ट्रांसप्लांट नहीं होने पर रोहित का जीवन बचाना कठिन हो सकता था। लिवर ट्रांसप्लांट के लिए अनुमानित खर्च लगभग 18 से 20 लाख रुपये बताया गया था, जो कि एक निर्धन परिवार के लिए वहन करना संभव नहीं था।

रोहित को नया जीवन देने के उद्देश्य से समूण फाउंडेशन ने अपने सम्मानित सदस्यों एवं दानदाताओं से अपनी क्षमता अनुसार सहयोग करने की विनम्र अपील की।

हालांकि बहुत बड़ी धनराशि एकत्रित नहीं हो पाई, लेकिन कहा जाता है कि बूंद-बूंद से घड़ा भरता है। इसी भावना के साथ दिनांक 22 जनवरी 2022 को दिल्ली स्थित ILBS हॉस्पिटल जाकर ₹11,000/- का चेक प्रदान किया गया तथा ₹5,100/- सीधे रोहित के बैंक खाते में स्थानांतरित किए गए।

इस प्रकार समूण परिवार के सम्मानित सदस्यों एवं दानदाताओं की ओर से रोहित बडोनी जी के इलाज हेतु कुल ₹15,100/- का सहयोग प्रदान किया गया।

Samoon Foundation member Mrs. Sita Payal Ji came to know about a poor family living in Valmiki Basti, Rishikesh, whose condition was extremely difficult. Due to rainfall, water was leaking through the roof of their small hut, and the family did not even have enough money to purchase a tarpaulin to cover their shelter. They were also facing a shortage of essential food supplies.

Understanding the urgency of the situation, respected members Shri Anurag Chauhan Ji and Mrs. Sita Payal Ji provided immediate assistance by arranging and delivering ration and a tarpaulin for the family.

Samoon Foundation’s Computer Training Centre at Akhodi, Tehri Garhwal successfully completed one year of operation. On this occasion, a certificate distribution ceremony was organized for students who had successfully completed their 6-month computer course.

The program was held on the birth anniversary of Late Shri Indramani Badoni Ji, popularly known as the Gandhi of Uttarakhand, which is celebrated as Uttarakhand Folk Culture Day.

In the gracious presence of former Uttarakhand Government Minister Shri Mohan Singh Gaonwasi Ji and respected members of the local community, certificates were distributed to the students who successfully completed their training.

समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा संचालित कंप्यूटर प्रशिक्षण केंद्र अखोड़ी, टिहरी गढ़वाल के सफलतापूर्वक एक वर्ष पूर्ण होने के उपलक्ष्य में विशेष कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया।

Education brings wisdom, humility, and the ability to make thoughtful decisions, contributing to the progress of society and the world. Following this vision, Samoon Foundation has been working for several years to support underprivileged but talented students by providing scholarships and organizing career counselling sessions to guide students in choosing better career paths.

Till now, many deserving students have received educational support through Samoon Foundation. Continuing this initiative, on 23rd December 2021, Samoon Foundation provided scholarships to 10 selected meritorious students of Jaiveer Memorial Satya College, Dangi Nailchami, Bhilangana, Tehri Garhwal.

Each student was provided a scholarship of ₹3,000/-, making the total scholarship amount ₹30,000/-. Along with financial support, students were motivated and guided regarding higher education opportunities and suitable career choices.

Samoon Foundation believes that every child deserves the opportunity to study and build a better future. By supporting education, we can help children who are unable to continue their studies due to financial difficulties and empower them to contribute positively to their families, society, and the nation.

Today’s children are the future of our country, and ensuring that no child remains deprived of education is a responsibility we all share.

अब तक समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा अनेक निर्धन एवं प्रतिभाशाली विद्यार्थियों को शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में सहयोग प्रदान किया जा चुका है। इसी क्रम में दिनांक 23/12/2021 को जयवीर मेमोरियल सत्य महाविद्यालय डांगी नैलचामी, भिलंगना, टिहरी गढ़वाल के 10 चयनित मेधावी विद्यार्थियों को छात्रवृत्ति प्रदान की गई।

प्रत्येक विद्यार्थी को ₹3,000/- की छात्रवृत्ति प्रदान की गई, इस प्रकार कुल ₹30,000/- की छात्रवृत्ति राशि वितरित की गई। इसके साथ ही विद्यार्थियों को बेहतर शिक्षा प्राप्त करने, सही करियर विकल्प चुनने और अपने भविष्य को उज्जवल बनाने हेतु प्रेरित एवं मार्गदर्शित किया गया।

समूण फाउंडेशन का उद्देश्य है कि आर्थिक परिस्थितियों के कारण कोई भी बच्चा शिक्षा से वंचित न रहे। हम सभी मिलकर ऐसे बच्चों को शिक्षा का उपहार दे सकते हैं, जो किसी कारणवश अपनी पढ़ाई जारी नहीं रख पा रहे हैं या जिनके परिवार उनकी शिक्षा का खर्च उठाने में सक्षम नहीं हैं।

Samoon Foundation has always stood with families facing difficult circumstances and provided support whenever needed.

On 12th December 2021, the Samoon Foundation team visited Base Hospital, Srinagar to meet Mrs. Guddi Devi Ji, a poor and financially struggling woman from Gram Sabha Budhna Ekling, Rudraprayag, who had been injured in a bear attack.

Considering her difficult situation, Samoon Foundation provided a small financial assistance of ₹11,000/- through a cheque towards her treatment.

Earlier also, Samoon Foundation had extended support to Guddi Devi Ji’s family during their difficult times.

Guddi Devi Ji’s husband had been suffering from illness for the past 12 years, and she had been working as a daily wage labourer to arrange funds for his treatment and manage the family expenses. However, after she herself became injured in the bear attack, she faced a severe financial crisis, as managing her own treatment along with her husband’s medical expenses became extremely difficult.

Samoon Foundation wishes Guddi Devi Ji a speedy recovery and remains committed to supporting families in need.

जरूरतमंद एवं कठिन परिस्थितियों से गुजर रहे परिवारों के साथ खड़ा होना समूण फाउंडेशन का सदैव प्रयास रहा है।

इसी क्रम में दिनांक 12 दिसंबर 2021 को समूण फाउंडेशन की टीम श्रीनगर बेस हॉस्पिटल पहुंची, जहां ग्राम सभा बुढ़ना एकलिंग, रुद्रप्रयाग निवासी गुड्डी देवी जी भालू के हमले से घायल होकर उपचार करा रही थीं।

गुड्डी देवी जी की आर्थिक स्थिति को देखते हुए समूण फाउंडेशन की ओर से उनके इलाज हेतु सहायता राशि के रूप में ₹11,000/- का चेक प्रदान किया गया।

इससे पूर्व भी समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा गुड्डी देवी जी के परिवार की कठिन परिस्थितियों में सहयोग किया जा चुका था।

आपको बता दें कि गुड्डी देवी जी के पति पिछले 12 वर्षों से बीमारी से जूझ रहे हैं। उनके इलाज एवं परिवार के भरण-पोषण के लिए गुड्डी देवी जी मेहनत मजदूरी कर आर्थिक व्यवस्था करती थीं। लेकिन स्वयं भालू के हमले में घायल होने के बाद उनके सामने अपने इलाज के साथ-साथ पति के इलाज का खर्च उठाने का भी गंभीर आर्थिक संकट उत्पन्न हो गया था।

समूण फाउंडेशन गुड्डी देवी जी के शीघ्र स्वास्थ्य लाभ की कामना करता है और भविष्य में भी जरूरतमंद परिवारों की सहायता हेतु प्रयासरत रहेगा।

Samoon Foundation-operated Samoon Computer Training Institute and Office, Sumari Rudraprayag, successfully completed one year on 12th December 2021. On this special occasion, a certificate distribution ceremony was organized for students who had successfully completed their 6-month and 1-year computer courses.

The program began by paying tribute to the brave soldiers who lost their lives in the Kunnur (Coonoor) helicopter accident, including General Bipin Rawat Ji and other military officers. The ceremony commenced with the offering of lamps and flowers to their portraits, followed by patriotic slogans and tributes honouring the martyrs.

After the tribute ceremony, certificates were distributed to the students who had completed their respective courses. The happiness and enthusiasm on the faces of the students after receiving their certificates were truly inspiring.

The event was attended by the founder of Samoon Foundation, respected members of the Rudraprayag team, local public representatives, and intellectual members of society.

समूण कंप्यूटर ट्रेनिंग इंस्टीट्यूट के एक वर्ष पूर्ण होने पर विद्यार्थियों को प्रमाण पत्र वितरित किए गए

समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा संचालित समूण कंप्यूटर ट्रेनिंग इंस्टीट्यूट एवं कार्यालय सुमाड़ी, रुद्रप्रयाग के सफलतापूर्वक एक वर्ष पूर्ण होने के उपलक्ष्य में दिनांक 12 दिसंबर 2021 को विशेष कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया।

इस अवसर पर संस्थान में 6 माह एवं 1 वर्ष का कंप्यूटर कोर्स पूर्ण कर चुके सभी विद्यार्थियों को प्रमाण पत्र वितरित किए गए।

कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ कुन्नूर हेलीकॉप्टर हादसे में शहीद हुए देश के वीर योद्धा जनरल विपिन रावत जी सहित सभी सैन्य अधिकारियों को श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित कर किया गया। वीरों की तस्वीरों पर दीप एवं पुष्प अर्पित कर भारत माता के जयघोष और अमर वीरों के सम्मान में नारे लगाए गए।

इसके पश्चात कोर्स पूर्ण कर चुके विद्यार्थियों को प्रमाण पत्र प्रदान किए गए। अपने हाथों में प्रमाण पत्र पाकर विद्यार्थियों के चेहरों पर खुशी, उत्साह और आत्मविश्वास साफ दिखाई दे रहा था।

Samoon Foundation has always remained committed to protecting the rights, dignity, and future of vulnerable individuals, especially children. On 4th December 2021, a serious matter involving a minor girl from a remote village in Rudraprayag district came to the attention of senior Samoon Foundation member Mr. Kamal Joshi Ji.

According to the information received, a minor girl was allegedly being forced into marriage against her wishes. It was reported that the girl’s father was attempting to arrange her marriage with a mentally challenged person due to personal interests, despite the girl not wanting to marry. The marriage was scheduled for 12th December 2021, and preparations had already begun, leaving very little time to intervene.

The informant shared call recordings between the girl and her relatives, where the girl clearly expressed that she was a minor and was being pressured into the marriage.

Understanding the seriousness of the situation, Mr. Kamal Joshi Ji immediately informed the concerned child protection authorities and the Child Welfare Committee. Later, he contacted Mrs. Ranjana Garola Bhatt Ji, Administrator of the One Stop Centre under the Women Empowerment and Child Development Department, Rudraprayag.

After reviewing the matter, Mrs. Ranjana Ji immediately sent a team to the village for investigation. During the inquiry, the girl was confirmed to be a minor. The family of the proposed groom was also called for verification. However, despite repeated requests, the groom’s father did not bring the groom before the officials. Even a proposal to present the groom through video call was refused, raising further concerns about the situation.

During the investigation, the girl shared that she had never properly met or spoken with the proposed groom and that the engagement had been arranged without her consent. Her statements made it clear that she was being pressured into a marriage without understanding or acceptance.

After the girl’s age and statements were verified, the groom’s family agreed to cancel the marriage. In the presence of the village head and local residents, the engagement-related items were returned, and the girl was safely placed under the care of her maternal uncle and aunt, where she would continue her education.

Samoon Foundation also committed to supporting the girl’s education and helping her build a better future.

समूण फाउंडेशन के प्रयासों से नाबालिग बालिका का जबरन विवाह रोका गया

समूण फाउंडेशन सदैव मानवता, बाल अधिकारों एवं जरूरतमंदों के संरक्षण के लिए समर्पित रहा है। इसी क्रम में दिनांक 04 दिसंबर 2021 को समूण फाउंडेशन के वरिष्ठ सदस्य श्री कमल जोशी जी को जनपद रुद्रप्रयाग के एक दूरस्थ गांव से एक अत्यंत गंभीर मामला प्राप्त हुआ।

जानकारी मिली कि एक नाबालिग बालिका का विवाह उसकी इच्छा के विरुद्ध जबरन एक मानसिक रूप से अस्वस्थ व्यक्ति के साथ तय किया जा रहा था। बताया गया कि बालिका इस विवाह के लिए तैयार नहीं थी, लेकिन पारिवारिक दबाव के कारण वह मजबूर हो रही थी। विवाह की तिथि 12/12/2021 तय थी और तैयारियां भी लगभग पूरी हो चुकी थीं।

सूचना की पुष्टि के लिए बालिका एवं उसके रिश्तेदार के बीच हुई बातचीत की रिकॉर्डिंग प्राप्त हुई, जिसमें बालिका स्वयं के नाबालिग होने और जबरन विवाह के लिए दबाव बनाए जाने की बात स्पष्ट रूप से कह रही थी।

मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए श्री कमल जोशी जी ने तत्काल बाल संरक्षण विभाग एवं चाइल्ड वेलफेयर कमेटी को इसकी सूचना दी। इसके बाद उन्होंने महिला सशक्तिकरण एवं बाल विकास विभाग रुद्रप्रयाग के अंतर्गत महिला सहायता वन स्टॉप सेंटर की केंद्र प्रशासक श्रीमती रंजना गैरोला भट्ट जी से संपर्क किया।

मामले की गंभीरता को समझते हुए श्रीमती रंजना जी ने तुरंत अपनी टीम को बालिका के गांव भेजा। जांच में बालिका नाबालिग पाई गई। लड़के पक्ष को भी जांच के लिए बुलाया गया, लेकिन लड़के के पिता बिना लड़के के ही पहुंचे। लड़के को वीडियो कॉल के माध्यम से प्रस्तुत करने का प्रयास भी किया गया, लेकिन वे इसके लिए भी तैयार नहीं हुए।

जांच के दौरान बालिका ने बताया कि उसे जंगल में घास काटते समय दूर से एक व्यक्ति दिखाकर उसका होने वाला पति बताया गया था। इसके बाद बिना लड़के को सामने लाए ही सगाई कर दी गई। बालिका के बयानों से स्पष्ट हुआ कि उसके साथ एक बड़ा अन्याय होने जा रहा था।

बालिका के नाबालिग होने और उसके द्वारा जबरन विवाह करवाने की बात कहे जाने के बाद लड़के पक्ष ने विवाह रद्द करने पर सहमति जताई। ग्राम प्रधान एवं ग्रामीणों की उपस्थिति में सगाई में दिया गया सामान वापस किया गया और बालिका को सुरक्षित रूप से उसके मामा-मामी के संरक्षण में भेज दिया गया, जहां वह आगे अपनी पढ़ाई जारी रखेगी।

समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा बालिका की शिक्षा में भी सहयोग करने का संकल्प लिया गया।

इस पूरे मामले में श्री कमल जोशी जी द्वारा दिखाई गई तत्परता, संवेदनशीलता और जिम्मेदारी की जितनी प्रशंसा की जाए, उतनी कम है। ऐसे समर्पित सदस्यों पर समूण फाउंडेशन को गर्व है।
