Location: Dehradun and Rishikesh, Uttarakhand

The Samoon Group successfully completed its blanket distribution drive during a cold winter night. The Dehradun team gathered at Rispana Bridge at 9:00 PM and, along with the team arriving from Rishikesh, began their journey across Dehradun city at 10:00 PM. Starting from ISBT, they covered areas including Patel Nagar, Prince Chowk, Ghantaghar, Parade Ground, Rajpur Road, Paltan Bazaar, and Doon Hospital, providing warmth (“Samoon”) to those in need.

Later, at around 1:00 AM, the team proceeded to Rishikesh. Passing through Nepali Farm, they visited Shyampur, Gumaniwala, Triveni Ghat, Shisham Jhadi, Ram Jhula, and Laxman Jhula. The team continued distributing blankets until 4:00 AM to ensure that help reached the most needy. The activity was carried out at night to directly support people exposed to the harsh cold.

During the drive, some team members became emotional upon witnessing the difficult conditions in which people were living—pregnant women, children, and elderly individuals were forced to spend the night under plastic sheets. Although the team could not reach everyone, they ensured that their support reached those who truly needed it.

The Samoon Group expressed its commitment to continue such humanitarian efforts and encouraged others to join in serving society, emphasizing that service to humanity is the greatest duty.

The team included:

कंबल वितरण कार्यक्रम

स्थान: देहरादून एवं ऋषिकेश, उत्तराखंड

समूण ग्रुप का कंबल वितरण कार्यक्रम सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हुआ। देहरादून की टीम रात 9:00 बजे रिस्पना पुल पर एकत्रित हुई और ऋषिकेश से आई टीम के साथ मिलकर 10:00 बजे शहर के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों का भ्रमण किया। आईएसबीटी से शुरुआत करते हुए टीम ने पटेलनगर, प्रिंस चौक, घंटाघर, परेड ग्राउंड, राजपुर रोड, पलटन बाजार और दून अस्पताल तक जरूरतमंद लोगों को “समूण” (गर्माहट) प्रदान की।

इसके बाद टीम ने रात 1:00 बजे ऋषिकेश के लिए प्रस्थान किया और नेपाली फार्म, श्यामपुर, गुमानीवाला, त्रिवेणी घाट, शिशम झाड़ी, राम झूला और लक्ष्मण झूला क्षेत्रों में भ्रमण किया। सुबह 4:00 बजे तक टीम जरूरतमंदों को कंबल वितरित करती रही। यह कार्य विशेष रूप से रात में इसलिए किया गया ताकि ठंड में खुले में रहने वाले लोगों तक सीधी सहायता पहुंच सके।

इस दौरान कुछ टीम सदस्य भावुक हो गए जब उन्होंने देखा कि गर्भवती महिलाएं, बच्चे और बुजुर्ग केवल प्लास्टिक की एक पॉलिथीन के नीचे रात बिताने को मजबूर थे।

हालांकि टीम हर व्यक्ति तक नहीं पहुंच सकी, लेकिन जिन तक सहायता पहुंची, उन्हें वास्तव में इसकी अत्यधिक आवश्यकता थी। समूण ग्रुप ने आगे भी ऐसे मानवीय कार्यों को जारी रखने का संकल्प लिया और सभी से इस नेक कार्य में जुड़ने की अपील की, यह बताते हुए कि मानव सेवा ही सबसे बड़ा धर्म है।

टीम में शामिल सदस्य थे:

इस परियोजना के लिए आर्थिक सहयोग देने वाले सभी लोगों का भी हार्दिक धन्यवाद, जिनके बिना यह कार्य संभव नहीं था।

The team gathered at Rispana Pool at 10:00 PM, planned their efforts, and moved across different parts of the city late at night to identify those in need. Despite the freezing weather, they worked continuously until 3:00 AM and distributed 101 blankets, providing warmth and comfort to many. This small act of kindness created a meaningful impact and inspired others to help those struggling during harsh winter conditions.

During the severe winter months, many poor and homeless individuals in Dehradun and Rishikesh faced extreme hardships as they had no proper shelter or warm clothing. The cold nights became life-threatening, especially for children and the elderly, who were more vulnerable to illness. Their struggles often went unnoticed, and they lacked access to basic necessities like blankets and warm clothes, highlighting the urgent need for compassion and support.

In conclusion, the Samoon Foundation’s effort showed that even a small initiative could bring significant change. By helping those in need, they not only provided warmth but also spread humanity and kindness, encouraging others to contribute toward the welfare of the less fortunate.

10 जनवरी 2015 की ठंडी सर्द रात में, समूण फाउंडेशन ने देहरादून और ऋषिकेश में खुले आसमान के नीचे सो रहे लोगों की सहायता हेतु कंबल वितरण अभियान सफलतापूर्वक आयोजित किया। टीम रात 10:00 बजे रिस्पना पुल पर एकत्रित हुई, योजना बनाई और देर रात शहर के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में जरूरतमंद लोगों की पहचान करते हुए आगे बढ़ी। कड़ाके की ठंड के बावजूद, टीम ने सुबह 3:00 बजे तक लगातार कार्य करते हुए 101 कंबल वितरित किए, जिससे कई लोगों को गर्माहट और राहत मिली। यह छोटा सा प्रयास एक बड़ा प्रभाव छोड़ गया और अन्य लोगों को भी जरूरतमंदों की सहायता के लिए प्रेरित किया।

कठिन सर्दियों के दौरान, देहरादून और ऋषिकेश में कई गरीब एवं बेघर लोगों को अत्यधिक कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ा क्योंकि उनके पास न तो उचित आश्रय था और न ही पर्याप्त गर्म कपड़े। ठंडी रातें विशेष रूप से बच्चों और बुजुर्गों के लिए जानलेवा बन जाती थीं। उनकी समस्याएं अक्सर अनदेखी रह जाती थीं और उन्हें कंबल व गर्म कपड़ों जैसी बुनियादी आवश्यकताओं की कमी रहती थी, जिससे तत्काल सहायता और संवेदना की आवश्यकता स्पष्ट होती है।

अंत में, समूण फाउंडेशन का यह प्रयास दर्शाता है कि एक छोटा कदम भी बड़ा बदलाव ला सकता है। जरूरतमंदों की सहायता करके उन्होंने न केवल उन्हें गर्माहट प्रदान की, बल्कि मानवता और करुणा का संदेश भी फैलाया, जिससे अन्य लोगों को भी समाज सेवा के लिए प्रेरणा मिली।
