*Shri Lal Ji* is the only earning member in a family of 6 members. But due to old age and poor health, he is unable to do daily wage labor. After the death of his wife, raising the family has become a very big challenge for him.

But even bigger than that is the fact that the house where this family lives is in such a condition that any big accident can happen anytime. Keeping this in mind, *Samoon Foundation* has transferred *₹20,000/-* for the material needed to build the roof of Shri Lal Ji's house to the account of shopkeeper *Umang Negi Ji*.

Very soon the work of laying the roof of Shri Lal Ji's house will be completed.

We wish Shri Lal Ji and his family a happy life.

66 वर्षीय ........ लाल जी 6 सदस्यों के परिवार में अकेले कमाने वाले हैं, लेकिन वृद्धावस्था एवं स्वास्थ्य सही न होने के कारण दिहाड़ी मजदूरी करने में असमर्थ हैं। पत्नीमरणस्य पश्चात घर के उपर जीविकोपार्जन के लिए एक बहुत बड़ा संकट खड़ा हो गया है, लेकिन उससे भी बड़ी चुनौती यह है कि जिस घर में यह परिवार रह रहा है उस घर की तिथी ऐसी जरूर है कि कभी भी कोई बड़ी दुर्घटना हो सकती है, जिसको मध्यनजर रखते हुए सम्पून फाउंडेशन ने श्री लाल जी के घर के निर्माण हेतु लगने वाले मटेरियल के लिए रुपये 20,000/- हजार की छोटी सी सहायता राशि दुकानदार उमंग नेगी जी के एकाउंट में ट्रांसफर कर दिये गये हैं। बहुत जल्द श्री लाल जी के घर की जिंगीबार का कार्य पूर्ण हो जायेगा।

When we get 2-3 days of holidays in a month, we spend this precious time with our family and children, because this is the time we work hard for and stay away from family. But among us there are some such personalities who are devoted to social service, who feel immense satisfaction in dedicating this precious time for the welfare of others. Because we believe that the happiness we get by seeing smiles on the faces of the needy is the biggest happiness for them.

One such great personality in our *Samoon Pariwar* is *Shri Vijay Mohan Painuli Ji*, who works far away in Chamoli. And whenever he comes to Dehradun with his family, he oversees all the work of Samoon. In the last holidays, after the school opened in Osala village, he went around various departments in Dehradun. In between, he also visited the Kapil Silai Kendra and before that arranged material for Divyang Lakshman's shop. Work related to Rudraprayag and Delhi Computer Training Center is also done through painstaking efforts. Along with this, he always takes the initiative to donate a large amount to Samoon Foundation himself and to get others to donate. Two days ago, through Painuli Ji, a donation of *₹11,000* was received.

Through Samoon Foundation, a shop was opened for Divyang Lakshman. But Lakshman Ji had another wish that if he could get an electronic scale, it would be easier for him to weigh goods. With the courtesy of respected member *Chand Mohan Kotiyal Ji* and the efforts of *Shri Vijay Mohan Painuli Ji*, a scale has been bought for Divyang Lakshman Ji today, which will be sent to Lakshman Ji's shop in Chamoli very soon.

Giving a scale is a small help, but the aim of Samoon Pariwar is always to make someone capable of self-employment for life. That is why we decided to open a shop for Divyang Lakshman Ji.

महीने में जब भी 2-3 दिन की छुट्टियां पड़ती हैं तो हम यह अमूल्य समय अपने परिवार एवं बच्चों के साथ बिताते हैं, क्योंकि यही वह समय होता है जिसके लिए हम इतनी मेहनत करते हैं और परिवार से दूर रहते हैं। लेकिन हमारे बीच में कुछ ऐसे भी मानवता प्रेमी और समाज सेवा को समर्पित व्यक्तित्व होते हैं जो इस कीमती समय को दूसरों के हितार्थ लगाने में सुखद अनुभूति महसूस करते हैं। क्योंकि उनका मानना है कि दूसरे जरूरतमंदों के मुरझाए हुए चेहरों पर खुशी देखकर जो संतुष्टि मिलती है वही उनको सबसे बड़ी खुशी होती है।

ऐसे ही महान व्यक्तित्व के धनी हमारे सम्पून परिवार में श्री विजय मोहन पैन्यूली जी हैं जो चमोली के दूरस्थ जगह पर नौकरी करते हैं और जब भी देहरादून परिवार के पास आते हैं सम्पून के जितने भी सभी कार्यों की निगरानी करते हैं। पिछली छुट्टियों में ओसाला गांव में खुलने वाले स्कूल के सम्बन्ध में देहरादून में विभिन्न विभागों के चक्कर, उससे पहले छुट्टियों में कपोली सिलाई केंद्र और उससे पहले दिव्यांग लक्ष्मण की दुकान के लिए सामान भिजवाना, रुद्रप्रयाग एवं दिल्ली कंप्यूटर प्रशिक्षण केंद्र से सम्बंधित समस्त काम निपटाना आदि पैनीली जी द्वारा किये जाते हैं और इसके साथ ही सम्पून फाउंडेशन में बड़ी मात्रा में स्वयं भी दान करना और दूसरों को भी दान देने हेतु प्रेरित करना श्रीमान पैन्यूली जी प्रयास करते रहते हैं। 2 दिन पूर्व ही पैन्यूली जी के माध्यम से *11000 हजार रुपयों का दान* प्राप्त हुआ।

दिव्यांग लक्ष्मण के लिए सम्पून फाउंडेशन के माध्यम से दुकान तो खुल गयी थी लेकिन लक्ष्मण जी की इच्छा जताई थी कि उनके लिए एक इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स तराजू मिल जाए तो उन्हें सामान तोलने में आसानी होती। सम्मानित सदस्य *चंद मोहन कोटियाल जी* के सौजन्य से और श्री विजय मोहन पैन्यूली जी के प्रयासों से आज दिव्यांग लक्ष्मण जी के लिए तराजू खरीद दिया है जो बहुत जल्द चमोली में लक्ष्मण जी की दुकान तक भेजा जाएगा।

एक बार दान देने की बजाय हम किसी को जीवन भर के लिए स्वरोजगार खोलकर सक्षम बनाएं यह हमेशा ही सम्पून परिवार का प्रयास रहता है। इसलिए हमने दिव्यांग लक्ष्मण जी के लिए दुकान खोलने का निर्णय लिया।

*Hridayal Ji*, a 29-year-old resident of *Purola, Uttarkashi*, has both kidneys damaged and has been on dialysis for 1 year.

In his family there are his mother, father and 2 younger brothers. His father works as a daily wage laborer. Hridayal Ji was the only earning member in the family, but due to both kidneys being damaged he is now unable to do anything. Hridayal Singh Ji has to undergo 3 days of dialysis every week.

He has an *Ayushman Card*, but after using it for so long, its limit has now been exhausted. For the past 1 year, he has been getting dialysis done, which has cost a lot and his entire family is under financial strain due to the ongoing treatment.

Now the only option left for him is a *kidney transplant*. His mother is ready to donate her kidney, but due to lack of money the kidney transplant is not possible. For a kidney transplant, around 4 to 5 lakh rupees will be required. They have managed to deposit 2 lakh, but are unable to arrange the remaining amount.

Right now the family is in *Chandigarh PGI*. His kidney transplant could happen now, but it is not happening due to lack of money. Even a small help at this time will mean a lot to him.

29 वर्षीय उत्तरकाशी पुरोला निवासी *हरदयाल जी* की दोनों किडनियां खराब हैं और 1 साल से यह डायलिस पर हैं। इनके परिवार में इनके माता-पिता व दो छोटे भाई बहन हैं। इनके पिता जी दिहाड़ी मजदूरी करते हैं। अपने परिवार में हरदयाल ही कमाने वाले थे परन्तु दोनों किडनी खराब होने की वजह से यह अब कुछ भी करने में असमर्थ हैं। हरदयाल सिंह जी को हफ्ते में 3 दिन डायलिसिस कराना पड़ता है। आयुष्मान कार्ड बना हुआ है पर इतने समय से डायलिस करते-करते इसकी लिमिट खत्म हो चुकी है। पिछले 1 साल से डायलिसिस कराने से इन पर काफी खर्चा भी हो चुका है और इनके इलाज के चलते इनका पूरा परिवार आर्थिक तंगी से जूझ रहा है।

अब इनके सामने एक ही उपाय है कि यह किडनी ट्रांसप्लांट कराएं। इनकी माता जी इन्हें अपनी किडनी दे रही हैं परन्तु पैसे के अभाव में यह किडनी ट्रांसप्लांट नहीं करवा पा रहे हैं। किडनी ट्रांसप्लांट के लिए इन्हें साढ़े चार लाख तक का खर्चा लगेगा। इन्होंने दो लाख जमा कर दिए हैं परन्तु बाकी पैसों का इंतजाम नहीं हो पा रहा है। अभी यह परिवार चंडीगढ़ पीजीआई में है। अब तक इनका किडनी ट्रांसप्लांट हो जाता परन्तु पैसे न होने से इनका ट्रांसप्लांट नहीं हो पा रहा है। इस समय इनके लिए छोटी सी मदद भी बहुत बड़ी है।

हरदयाल जी के इलाज के लिए हर संभव सहयोग के हाथ बढ़ाएं।

Late at night, the *Samoon Foundation* team distributed blankets to the needy in the areas of *Dwarka, Palam and Bhola Kuan* etc.

The main members of the team included *Shri Manoj Paliawal Ji, Manoj Negi Ji, Vikash Dhaniyal Ji* etc.

Along with this, blankets are being distributed by other teams of Samoon Foundation at 3 other places in Delhi as well. This project was done in Delhi with the funding of *CSR Fund*.

On behalf of *Samoon Pariwar*, the goods for opening a shop for *Shri Laxman Singh* from *Diyala* have reached his village. Very soon Laxman Ji will start the shop and begin earning his livelihood.

Laxman Ji had asked us for some financial help. Instead of just giving financial aid, we decided to make him self-reliant by opening a grocery shop for him in his village, so that he can live his life easily through this shop.
