The Samoon Foundation once again demonstrated its commitment towards humanity by extending financial support to Mrs. Sunita Pawar Ji, who is battling cancer and facing serious challenges in continuing her treatment.

A resident of Pauri Garhwal, Sunita Ji has faced immense hardships in life. After losing both her parents and her husband, she has been taking care of her three children alone while fighting a life-threatening illness. Due to increasing medical expenses and difficulties in managing travel and treatment-related costs, the family was struggling to continue her chemotherapy.

After learning about her situation, the Samoon Foundation immediately stepped forward to support the family. With the collective efforts of Samoon family members and well-wishers, an amount of ₹21,000 was transferred to the account of Priya, daughter of Sunita Pawar Ji, to assist with her mother’s treatment expenses.

On the same day, Sunita Ji was successfully admitted to Himalayan Hospital, Jolly Grant, Dehradun, where her treatment journey began. The Foundation assured the family of continued support whenever required.

This initiative reflects the core values of Samoon Foundation—compassion, humanity, and standing beside those in need during difficult times. The entire Samoon family prays for Sunita Ji’s speedy recovery and believes that collective support and empathy can bring hope and strength even in the most challenging situations.

पौड़ी गढ़वाल निवासी सुनीता जी ने जीवन में अनेक कठिन परिस्थितियों का सामना किया है। अपने माता-पिता और पति को खोने के बाद वह अपने तीन बच्चों की जिम्मेदारी अकेले निभा रही हैं और इसी संघर्ष के बीच कैंसर जैसी गंभीर बीमारी से भी लड़ रही हैं। बढ़ते उपचार खर्च, यात्रा और कीमोथेरेपी से संबंधित अन्य आवश्यकताओं के कारण परिवार के सामने इलाज जारी रखना कठिन हो गया था।

जब समून फाउंडेशन को सुनीता जी की स्थिति के बारे में जानकारी मिली तो संस्था ने तुरंत सहायता के लिए पहल की। समून परिवार के सदस्यों एवं सहयोगियों के सामूहिक प्रयास से सुनीता जी की पुत्री प्रिया जी के खाते में उपचार सहायता के लिए ₹21,000 की धनराशि हस्तांतरित की गई।

उसी दिन सुनीता जी को देहरादून स्थित हिमालयन हॉस्पिटल, जौली ग्रांट में सफलतापूर्वक भर्ती कराया गया, जहां उनके उपचार की शुरुआत हुई। फाउंडेशन ने परिवार को आवश्यकता पड़ने पर आगे भी सहयोग का आश्वासन दिया।

As part of its mission to provide warm clothing and educational support to 4,000 underprivileged children by December 2024, the Foundation distributed sweaters among the youngest learners of the village.

With the arrival of winter, these sweaters became more than just warm clothing—they became a symbol of care, encouragement, and inclusion. The initiative aimed to ensure that children in remote rural areas could continue their learning journey with comfort, confidence, and dignity.

On 10 September 2024, the Samoon Foundation continued its commitment towards educational support and child welfare by distributing sweaters to students of Government Primary School, Syari-Bhetiin, Chamoli. As a part of its broader school uniform distribution campaign, this initiative aimed to provide warmth, comfort, and encouragement to students studying in one of Uttarakhand’s remote regions.

Headmaster Mr. Bhagwati Purohit expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the Foundation’s efforts and shared that providing sweaters to students would further motivate them to continue their education with enthusiasm and dedication.
