The Samoon Foundation extended its mission of educational support and child welfare by distributing sweaters to students at Government Primary School, Syari-Bhetiin Chamoli. As part of its wider uniform distribution campaign, this initiative brought much-needed warmth and motivation to students in one of Uttarakhand’s remote regions. Headmaster Mr. Bhagwati Purohit expressed heartfelt appreciation, noting, “The Foundation's effort to provide sweaters is commendable and will further encourage children to stay engaged with their studies.” Assistant Teacher Mrs. Amna Siddiqui emphasized the emotional impact, sharing that “the happiness on the children's faces was priceless— such efforts break down barriers to education in remote areas.” The Samoon Foundation aims to distribute free uniforms, including sweaters and tracksuits, to 4,000 students across underserved communities by December 2024. A special acknowledgment was given to Mr. Tika Prasad Semwal for his vital role in ensuring successful delivery to this challenging location. The initiative reflects Samoon’s ongoing commitment to enabling access to education by addressing both environmental and socio-economic hurdles.
