On 10 September 2024, the Samoon Foundation continued its commitment towards educational support and child welfare by distributing sweaters to students of Government Primary School, Syari-Bhetiin, Chamoli. As a part of its broader school uniform distribution campaign, this initiative aimed to provide warmth, comfort, and encouragement to students studying in one of Uttarakhand’s remote regions.

Headmaster Mr. Bhagwati Purohit expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the Foundation’s efforts and shared that providing sweaters to students would further motivate them to continue their education with enthusiasm and dedication.

Assistant Teacher Mrs. Amna Siddiqui highlighted the emotional impact of the initiative, expressing that the happiness and excitement visible on the children’s faces reflected the importance of such support. She appreciated how these efforts help reduce barriers to education in remote areas.

As part of its larger mission, the Samoon Foundation aims to provide free uniforms, including sweaters and tracksuits, to 4,000 students from underserved communities by December 2024. These initiatives are designed not only to address seasonal challenges but also to promote equality, confidence, and a stronger connection with education among children.

The Foundation also expressed special appreciation to Mr. Tika Prasad Semwal for his valuable contribution and support in ensuring the successful delivery of assistance to this challenging and remote location.

10 सितंबर 2024 को समून फाउंडेशन ने शिक्षा सहायता और बाल कल्याण के अपने संकल्प को आगे बढ़ाते हुए राजकीय प्राथमिक विद्यालय, स्यारी-भेतीन, चमोली के विद्यार्थियों को स्वेटर वितरित किए। यह पहल संस्था के व्यापक स्कूल यूनिफॉर्म वितरण अभियान का हिस्सा थी, जिसका उद्देश्य उत्तराखंड के दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों में अध्ययनरत बच्चों को ठंड से सुरक्षा के साथ-साथ शिक्षा के प्रति प्रेरणा और आत्मविश्वास प्रदान करना था।

विद्यालय के प्रधानाध्यापक श्री भगवती पुरोहित ने फाउंडेशन के इस प्रयास की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि विद्यार्थियों को स्वेटर उपलब्ध कराना एक प्रशंसनीय पहल है, जो बच्चों को अपनी पढ़ाई के प्रति और अधिक प्रोत्साहित करेगा।

सहायक अध्यापिका श्रीमती अमना सिद्दीकी ने इस पहल के भावनात्मक प्रभाव को साझा करते हुए कहा कि बच्चों के चेहरों पर दिखाई देने वाली खुशी अमूल्य थी। उन्होंने बताया कि इस प्रकार के प्रयास दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों में शिक्षा के मार्ग में आने वाली बाधाओं को कम करने में सहायक होते हैं।

समून फाउंडेशन का लक्ष्य दिसंबर 2024 तक जरूरतमंद समुदायों के 4,000 विद्यार्थियों को निःशुल्क यूनिफॉर्म, जिसमें स्वेटर और ट्रैकसूट शामिल हैं, उपलब्ध कराना है। इन प्रयासों का उद्देश्य केवल मौसमी कठिनाइयों को दूर करना नहीं, बल्कि बच्चों में समानता की भावना, आत्मविश्वास और शिक्षा के प्रति जुड़ाव को मजबूत करना भी है।

फाउंडेशन ने विशेष रूप से श्री टीका प्रसाद सेमवाल के सहयोग की सराहना की, जिनके महत्वपूर्ण प्रयासों से इस दुर्गम क्षेत्र तक सहायता सफलतापूर्वक पहुंचाई जा सकी।
