The Samoon Foundation continued its commitment towards educational support and child welfare by extending its uniform distribution campaign to the Anganwadi Center of Village Musadhung-1, Rudraprayag. As part of its mission to provide warm clothing and educational support to 4,000 underprivileged children by December 2024, the Foundation distributed sweaters among the youngest learners of the village.
With the arrival of winter, these sweaters became more than just warm clothing—they became a symbol of care, encouragement, and inclusion. The initiative aimed to ensure that children in remote rural areas could continue their learning journey with comfort, confidence, and dignity.
Representing the Samoon Foundation, Mr. Darmiyan Singh Jakwal Ji personally coordinated the distribution and appreciated the continuous support of Foundation members who contribute a portion of their earnings towards such meaningful social initiatives.
Anganwadi Head Worker Mrs. Shakuntala Devi expressed her gratitude and appreciated the Foundation’s efforts, stating that such initiatives are making a valuable contribution towards society and deserve everyone’s support. Village Head Mrs. Sundari Devi also praised the initiative, describing it as a wonderful gift for the children, especially at a time when temperatures begin to fall.
The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from villagers, parents, and community representatives, reflecting the collective responsibility towards the care and development of children.
Through such small yet impactful efforts, Samoon Foundation continues to strengthen its mission of creating equal opportunities for children in remote areas—providing not only warmth through sweaters but also confidence, motivation, and hope for a brighter future.

समून फाउंडेशन ने शिक्षा और बाल कल्याण के क्षेत्र में अपने निरंतर प्रयासों को आगे बढ़ाते हुए रुद्रप्रयाग जिले के ग्राम मुसाढुंग-1 स्थित आंगनवाड़ी केंद्र में गर्म स्वेटर वितरण अभियान आयोजित किया। दिसंबर 2024 तक 4000 जरूरतमंद बच्चों को स्कूल यूनिफॉर्म एवं आवश्यक सामग्री उपलब्ध कराने के संकल्प के अंतर्गत फाउंडेशन द्वारा छोटे बच्चों को स्वेटर वितरित किए गए।
सर्दियों के आगमन से पहले बच्चों को दिए गए ये स्वेटर केवल गर्म कपड़े नहीं थे, बल्कि उनके लिए देखभाल, प्रोत्साहन और अपनत्व का प्रतीक भी बने। इस पहल का उद्देश्य दूरस्थ ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के बच्चों को बेहतर वातावरण उपलब्ध कराना था, ताकि वे बिना किसी परेशानी के अपनी शिक्षा जारी रख सकें।
समून फाउंडेशन की ओर से श्री दरमियान सिंह जखवाल जी ने स्वयं वितरण कार्यक्रम का संचालन किया और उन सभी सदस्यों की सराहना की जो अपनी आय का एक हिस्सा समाज सेवा के ऐसे कार्यों के लिए समर्पित करते हैं।
आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्त्री श्रीमती शकुंतला देवी ने फाउंडेशन के कार्यों की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा कि संस्था समाज के लिए सराहनीय कार्य कर रही है और सभी को ऐसे प्रयासों का सहयोग करना चाहिए। ग्राम प्रधान श्रीमती सुंदरी देवी ने इस पहल को छोटे बच्चों के लिए एक उत्कृष्ट उपहार बताते हुए कहा कि ठंड के मौसम में यह सहायता उनके लिए अत्यंत उपयोगी सिद्ध होगी।
इस अवसर पर ग्रामीणों, अभिभावकों एवं स्थानीय लोगों की उत्साहपूर्ण भागीदारी रही, जिसने बच्चों के विकास और शिक्षा के प्रति समुदाय की सकारात्मक सोच को दर्शाया।
समून फाउंडेशन की यह पहल इस बात का उदाहरण है कि छोटे-छोटे प्रयास भी बच्चों के जीवन में बड़ा बदलाव ला सकते हैं। संस्था निरंतर प्रयासरत है कि दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों के बच्चों को केवल आवश्यक सामग्री ही नहीं, बल्कि सम्मान, आत्मविश्वास और बेहतर भविष्य की आशा भी प्रदान की जा सके।
