On March 17, 2025, the Samoon Foundation advanced its mission to promote
education and holistic child development by distributing free sports uniforms to
students at Government Primary School, Purwala, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. This
initiative sought to do more than just provide clothing — it aimed to inspire students
toward education, bolster their self- confidence, and support their overall well- being.
Mr. Vikram Lingwal, the school’s headmaster, warmly welcomed the Foundation team
and applauded their ongoing social commitment. The event featured Mr. Gajendra
Singh Rana alongside colleagues Mr. Narendra Dhawan, Mr. Dinesh Panwar, and Mr.
Anil Rana, who engaged the children with inspiring moral education stories. They also
raised important awareness about the health risks of excessive mobile phone use, the
benefits of balanced nutrition, and the dangers of junk food. The team encouraged
students to serve the nation by striving for excellence through education.
The program was well- attended by Assistant Teacher Mrs. Sushma Chauhan and
local parents, who expressed deep appreciation for this comprehensive effort. The
Samoon Foundation’s message was clear and powerful: “This uniform representsmore than just clothing — it symbolizes a vital step toward self- confidence, discipline,
and a brighter future for every child.
