On March 5, 2025, the Samoon Foundation marked another milestone in its mission
by distributing free sports uniforms to students at Government Primary School, Loyal
(School No. 78), in Tehri Garhwal District, Uttarakhand. This event represents a vital
stride toward the Foundation’s ambitious goal of outfitting 10,000 students across
over 100 schools and villages by the close of the 2024- 25 academic year.
The initiative focused on nurturing discipline, confidence, and a strong dedication to
education among the children. Mrs. Lalita Rana, the school Headmistress, expressed
heartfelt gratitude, highlighting how the uniforms significantly boost students’ self-
esteem and enthusiasm for learning. Mrs. Sunita Devi, Chairperson of the School
Management Committee, echoed this appreciation, underscoring the far- reaching
benefits for the children’s holistic development.
Mr. Gajendra Singh Rana, representing the Samoon Foundation, actively engaged the
students with inspirational stories, educational games, and activities that added joy
and meaning to the occasion. The event saw enthusiastic participation from Mr.
Sachin Chauhan (Assistant Teacher), parents, and local villagers, all united in support
of the children’s progress. The Foundation remains steadfast in its belief thatproviding equal opportunities through initiatives like these is a powerful catalyst for
confidence, dignity, and a brighter future for every child.
