On March 8, 2025, the Samoon Foundation strengthened its commitment to rural
education by distributing free T- shirts to students at Government Primary School,
Kundadhar, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. This initiative aimed not only to provide
essential clothing but also to nurture self- confidence, discipline, and a passion for
learning among the children.
Mr. Sohan Lal, the school’s headmaster, praised the program, emphasizing that “lack
of facilities should not hinder children’s education.” Village head Mr. Vijay echoed this
sentiment, expressing gratitude and noting, “Such eff orts play a crucial role in
empowering rural education and motivating children to learn.
” During the event, Mr. Gajendra Singh Rana and Mr. Narendra Dhawan from the Samoon Foundation distributed the uniforms and engaged students with valuable lessons on moral
education and general knowledge.
The program drew strong participation from teachers, mid- day meal staff , parents,
and villagers, all united in appreciation of this impactful initiative. The Foundation’s
vision remains steadfast: to ensure every child is educated, self- reliant, and
empowered to pursue their dreams with confidence.
