On March 3, 2025, the Samoon Foundation broadened its mission to uplift urban
underprivileged children by distributing free tracksuits to students from slum areas
attending the Meri Asha Trust Education Center (School No. 77) in Patel Nagar,
Dehradun, Uttarakhand. This thoughtful initiative sought to provide these deserving
children with essential resources that promote confidence, discipline, and a sense of
equality.
The Meri Asha Trust management warmly praised the Foundation’s eff orts,
highlighting how uniforms nurture pride and belonging among children facing daily
challenges. Niti Ji, Secretary of Meri Asha Trust, emphasized the transformative
impact uniforms have on education and self- esteem, reinforcing the vital role they play
in shaping a hopeful future. The event brought together Trust staff , parents, and
teachers, all united in gratitude for the Foundation’s unwavering support. At its core,
the Samoon Foundation believes education is every child’s fundamental right and that
through collective eff ort, no child should be left behind due to lack of resources
