On March 1 ,2025, the Samoon Foundation strengthened its commitment to
education and empowerment by distributing free tracksuits to students at
Government Primary School, Mathian Gaon (School No. 76), in Tehri Garhwal,
Uttarakhand. This thoughtful initiative was designed to not only provide essential
clothing but also to significantly boost children’s confidence and promote equality
among students.
Mrs. Kavita Bahuguna, the school Headmistress, expressed heartfelt gratitude, noting the bright smiles and enthusiasm among the children. The event witnessed
vibrant community involvement, with the Parents' Association President, Deputy
Head, village women, school committee members, teachers, and parents coming
together in a shared spirit of support. For the Samoon Foundation, these uniforms
represent more than just clothing— they symbolize a vital step towards empowering
children, fostering self- esteem, and paving the way for brighter futures. Ultimately, the
children’s joyful smiles stand as the Foundation’s greatest reward, embodying the
true impact of their work.
