जहां सब जनवरी और दिसंबर की कड़कड़ाती ठंड में अपने घरों में रजाई ओढ़ के रहते हैं , वही हमारे कुछ भाई बहन इस कड़ाके की ठंड में खुले आसमान के नीचे सोने पर मजबूर हैं | उनके लिए समूण फाउंडेशन पिछले 7 सालों से हर साल कंबल वितरण कार्यक्रम करती है।

इस साल उत्तराखंड में ऋषिकेश, देहरादून, देवप्रयाग, रुद्रप्रयाग, प्रतापनगर - टिहरी के विभिन्न जगहो के साथ साथ दिल्ली में ISBT, बुराड़ी, लक्ष्मी नगर, द्वारिका और नोयडा में कम्बल वितरण के लिए 8 टीमो का गठन किया गया जिनमे मुख्यत टीम के सदस्य नीतू कंडवाल, सूरज कंडवाल, अनिल सिंह, अनिल रतूड़ी, विनोद रतूड़ी, वंदना, नरेंद्र रावत, मनोज पालीवाल, मनोज नेगी, विकाश थपलियाल, सुभाष जेठुडी, महिताब चौहान, जगपाल जेठुडी, विक्रम सिंह, धीरेन्द्र जेठुडी, मनोहर रावत, वीरेंद्र नेगी, विक्रम सिंह आदि समलित थे |

समूण सिलाई प्रशिक्षण केंद्र, रूमधार में महिलाएं एवं बालिकाएं उत्साहपूर्वक सिलाई का प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर रही हैं।

इस केंद्र में सिलाई सीखने वाले प्रशिक्षणार्थियों की संख्या लगातार बढ़ती जा रही है। ग्रामीण महिलाओं एवं बालिकाओं में कौशल विकास और आत्मनिर्भर बनने की बढ़ती रुचि इस पहल को सफल बना रही है।

समूण फाउंडेशन को अन्य स्थानों से भी ऐसे ही सिलाई प्रशिक्षण केंद्र खोलने हेतु निवेदन प्राप्त हो रहे हैं। बहुत जल्द समूण फाउंडेशन अन्य क्षेत्रों में भी सिलाई प्रशिक्षण केंद्र प्रारंभ करने के लिए प्रयासरत है, जिससे अधिक से अधिक महिलाएं एवं बालिकाएं लाभान्वित हो सकें।

“When women become self-reliant, society moves towards development.”

With the objective of empowering women and helping them become financially independent, Samoon Foundation is going to start another Sewing Training Centre.

Through this centre, women from the village will be provided sewing training so that after learning this skill, they can become self-dependent and create better livelihood opportunities for themselves.

A meeting was conducted with village women regarding this initiative, where it was decided that the centre will initially be started with 5 sewing machines. If more women and girls from the village show interest in learning sewing, Samoon Foundation will increase the number of machines and will also make efforts to provide training in embroidery work.

Samoon Foundation hopes that such initiatives will benefit village women, help them gain skills, and encourage them towards self-reliance.

महिलाओं को आत्मनिर्भर बनाने के उद्देश्य से समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा एक और सिलाई प्रशिक्षण केंद्र प्रारंभ करने का निर्णय लिया गया है।

इस केंद्र के माध्यम से गांव की महिलाओं एवं बालिकाओं को सिलाई का प्रशिक्षण दिया जाएगा, जिससे वे यह हुनर सीखकर आत्मनिर्भर बन सकें और अपने जीवन यापन के लिए नए अवसर प्राप्त कर सकें।

इस संबंध में ग्रामीण महिलाओं के साथ एक बैठक आयोजित की गई, जिसमें निर्णय लिया गया कि प्रारंभिक चरण में इस केंद्र की शुरुआत 5 सिलाई मशीनों के साथ की जाएगी।

यदि गांव की अधिक महिलाएं एवं बालिकाएं यहां सिलाई सीखने के लिए आती हैं तो समूण परिवार द्वारा सिलाई मशीनों की संख्या बढ़ाने के साथ-साथ कढ़ाई का प्रशिक्षण देने का भी प्रयास किया जाएगा।

समूण फाउंडेशन को आशा है कि इस प्रकार के प्रयासों से गांव की महिलाएं लाभान्वित होंगी और आत्मनिर्भर बनने की दिशा में आगे बढ़ेंगी।

Vijay Singh Chauhan Ji, a resident of Akhori, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, is facing a serious health crisis. Both of his kidneys have failed, and a kidney transplant is currently the only possible treatment option.

Vijay Singh Ji lost his parents at a very young age. After struggling through life and managing his livelihood through farming, he got married and had just started building his family life when, around six months ago, both of his kidneys suddenly stopped functioning.

Being poor, helpless, and without financial support, Vijay Singh Ji does not have enough resources to bear the cost of his treatment. Therefore, he approached Samoon Foundation seeking assistance.

Vijay Singh Ji has a young son, and his treatment is currently ongoing at AIIMS Rishikesh. The villagers have been collecting contributions and supporting his treatment, but the required amount for complete treatment is still far beyond their capacity.

Through this centre, Samoon Foundation aims to reach remote villages of Chamoli and Rudraprayag districts and extend its valuable support to needy families living in these areas.

Along with humanitarian support activities, this centre will also provide free computer training to talented and economically weaker students of the region, ensuring that no student remains deprived of computer knowledge in today’s digital era.

With the continued blessings and support of everyone, Samoon Foundation is also preparing to open its fourth office and computer training centre at Akhodi, Tehri Garhwal, in the memory of Uttarakhand’s renowned personality Late Shri Indramani Badoni Ji.

An appeal for help to support one-and-a-half-year-old Abhishek. (डेढ़ साल के अभिषेक की मदद की गुहार)

Medical Assistance Support for Little Abhishek

Samoon Foundation has always been committed to supporting helpless families during difficult times, especially when financial difficulties become a barrier to receiving medical treatment.

Little Abhishek, aged one and a half years, was suffering from a serious health condition. Due to swelling throughout his body, he used to cry in pain throughout the night. His parents, being financially weak, were unaware of the exact medical condition affecting their child.

Abhishek’s father, Mr. Kedar Singh, had already borrowed ₹70,000 from friends and relatives for his son’s treatment, but his condition remained unchanged. The only information the family had was that Abhishek was suffering from a kidney-related problem.

Mr. Kedar Singh, originally from Sajwan Gaon, Post Office Kharsadi, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, was working in a hotel in Amritsar, Punjab. Due to the COVID-19 lockdown, he lost his job and was stranded there. Already burdened with previous debt, the family was struggling even to arrange basic food supplies, making further treatment for Abhishek extremely difficult.

After receiving information about Abhishek’s condition, Samoon Foundation immediately contacted the family and extended support. Doctors advised an ultrasound examination to understand the exact medical issue, but the cost of the ultrasound was ₹8,000, which the family could not afford at that time.

Samoon Foundation provided an immediate primary assistance amount of ₹10,000 to help arrange the ultrasound and begin further medical investigation. The foundation also assured the family of continued support and every possible effort for Abhishek’s treatment.

Samoon Foundation appealed to everyone to come forward and support Abhishek’s treatment, because no life should suffer due to lack of financial resources.

छोटे अभिषेक के इलाज हेतु चिकित्सा सहायता अभियान

दिनांक: 16 मई, 2020

स्थान: अमृतसर, पंजाब / टिहरी गढ़वाल, उत्तराखंड

समूण फाउंडेशन सदैव कठिन परिस्थितियों में फंसे जरूरतमंद परिवारों की सहायता और आर्थिक परेशानी के कारण किसी के इलाज में बाधा न आए, इस उद्देश्य से कार्य करता रहा है।

डेढ़ वर्ष के छोटे अभिषेक को शरीर में अत्यधिक सूजन की गंभीर समस्या थी, जिसके कारण वह रात भर दर्द से रोता रहता था। आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर होने के कारण उसके माता-पिता को यह भी पता नहीं था कि आखिर उनके बच्चे को कौन सी बीमारी है।

अभिषेक के पिता श्री केदार सिंह जी ने बेटे के इलाज के लिए दोस्तों और रिश्तेदारों से ₹70,000 का कर्ज लेकर उपचार करवाया, लेकिन इसके बाद भी बच्चे की स्थिति में कोई सुधार नहीं हुआ। उन्हें केवल इतना पता था कि उनके बेटे की किडनी में कोई समस्या है।

श्री केदार सिंह जी मूल रूप से ग्राम सज्वाण गांव, पोस्ट ऑफिस खरसाडी, जिला टिहरी गढ़वाल, उत्तराखंड के रहने वाले हैं और अमृतसर, पंजाब में होटल में नौकरी करते थे। COVID-19 लॉकडाउन के कारण उनकी नौकरी चली गई और वह वहीं फंस गए। पहले से कर्ज में डूबे परिवार के सामने अब खाने के राशन तक की समस्या उत्पन्न हो गई थी, ऐसे में बेटे का आगे इलाज करवाना बहुत मुश्किल हो गया था।

समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा तत्काल प्राथमिक सहायता के रूप में ₹10,000 की राशि श्री केदार सिंह जी को भेजी गई, जिससे अभिषेक का अल्ट्रासाउंड करवाया जा सके और बीमारी की सही जानकारी प्राप्त हो सके। साथ ही संस्था ने आगे के इलाज के लिए हर संभव सहायता का आश्वासन दिया।

Musical Lockdown – Facebook Live Fundraising Campaign

During the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic, Samoon Foundation initiated a fundraising campaign through a Facebook Live musical concert titled “Musical Lockdown” to support poor and stranded people across Uttarakhand.

The objective of this donation campaign was to raise ₹2,00,000, which would be utilized to purchase and distribute essential food supplies to people facing difficulties during the pandemic.

Due to the nationwide lockdown, thousands of migrant workers, daily wage earners, and economically weaker people were stranded in different cities of Uttarakhand. Many of them were living in temporary camps near roadsides or in remote hilly regions, where arranging daily meals had become a major challenge.

To support these families, Samoon Foundation organized a seven-day Facebook Live musical concert where seven renowned singers, along with their teams, participated and performed for 60 minutes each day. Through their melodious voices and music, the artists entertained people while encouraging them to contribute towards this humanitarian cause.

The program started from 24 April, 2020, with a new artist performing every day for seven consecutive days.

Samoon Foundation appealed to everyone to support this initiative by contributing through PayTM, Google Pay, or online bank transfer. Every contribution, big or small, helped in bringing food and hope to families affected by the pandemic.

म्यूजिकल लॉकडाउन – फेसबुक लाइव फंडरेजिंग अभियान

स्थान: उत्तराखंड

COVID-19 महामारी के कठिन समय में समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा उत्तराखंड में फंसे गरीब एवं जरूरतमंद लोगों की सहायता हेतु धनराशि एकत्रित करने के उद्देश्य से फेसबुक लाइव म्यूजिकल कॉन्सर्ट “म्यूजिकल लॉकडाउन” का आयोजन किया गया।

इस दान संग्रह अभियान का लक्ष्य ₹2,00,000 की राशि एकत्रित करना था, जिसका उपयोग जरूरतमंद लोगों के लिए खाद्य सामग्री खरीदने और वितरित करने में किया जाना था।

लॉकडाउन के कारण उत्तराखंड के विभिन्न शहरों में हजारों प्रवासी मजदूर, दैनिक वेतन भोगी कर्मचारी और आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर लोग फंस गए थे। कई लोग सड़क किनारे बने शिविरों में या दूरस्थ पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों में रहने को मजबूर थे, जहां उनके लिए प्रतिदिन भोजन की व्यवस्था करना एक बड़ी चुनौती बन गया था।

ऐसे कठिन समय में सहायता पहुंचाने के उद्देश्य से समूण फाउंडेशन ने सात दिवसीय फेसबुक लाइव म्यूजिकल कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया। इस कार्यक्रम में सात अलग-अलग प्रसिद्ध गायक अपनी टीम के साथ जुड़े और प्रतिदिन लगभग 60 मिनट तक अपनी मधुर आवाज से लोगों का मनोरंजन करते हुए इस सेवा अभियान को समर्थन दिया।

यह कार्यक्रम 24 अप्रैल 2020 से प्रारंभ हुआ, जिसमें प्रत्येक दिन एक नए कलाकार ने प्रस्तुति दी और लगातार सात दिनों तक यह अभियान संचालित हुआ।

New Year Blanket Distribution Campaign

During the freezing winter months of December and January, while many of us protect ourselves from the cold by staying inside our homes wearing warm clothes and using blankets, there are many people around us who are forced to spend their nights under the open sky.

Every year, hundreds of people across North India lose their lives due to severe cold conditions, with children and women among those who suffer the most.

For the past five years, Samoon Foundation has been celebrating the New Year by organizing a Blanket Distribution Campaign and praying for the well-being and happiness of everyone.

While thousands of rupees are often spent on celebrations and parties during the New Year, gifting a blanket to someone in need can bring warmth, hope, and countless blessings. A small act of kindness can make someone’s winter safer and more comfortable.

Samoon Foundation appealed to everyone to come forward on the occasion of the New Year and donate a blanket for a needy person.

The cost of one blanket was ₹250/-. Supporters could contribute by transferring ₹250 to the Samoon Foundation account, and the foundation ensured that the blanket would reach someone in need on their behalf.

Through this initiative, Samoon Foundation continued its mission of spreading compassion, care, and humanity among society.

नव वर्ष कम्बल वितरण अभियान

दिनांक: दिसम्बर – जनवरी

स्थान: उत्तराखंड

दिसम्बर और जनवरी की कड़कड़ाती ठंड में जहां हम लोग अपने घरों में गर्म कपड़े पहनकर, रजाई और कम्बलों में रहकर ठंड से बचते हैं, वहीं हमारे बीच कुछ ऐसे लोग भी हैं जो खुले आसमान के नीचे रात गुजारने को मजबूर होते हैं।

हर वर्ष उत्तर भारत में कड़ाके की ठंड के कारण सैकड़ों लोग प्रभावित होते हैं और कई लोगों को अपनी जान तक गंवानी पड़ती है। इनमें छोटे बच्चों, महिलाओं और असहाय लोगों की संख्या अधिक होती है।

समूण परिवार पिछले 5 वर्षों से लगातार नव वर्ष को “कम्बल वितरण कार्यक्रम” के रूप में मनाता आ रहा है और परमपिता परमात्मा से सभी के सुख, स्वास्थ्य एवं कुशलता की कामना करता है।

नव वर्ष के अवसर पर जहां हम हजारों रुपये उत्सव और पार्टियों में खर्च कर देते हैं, वहीं यदि हम किसी जरूरतमंद को एक कम्बल भेंट करते हैं तो उसकी दुआओं के रूप में मिलने वाला आशीर्वाद हमारे जीवन को और अधिक सुखमय बना सकता है।

समूण फाउंडेशन ने सभी लोगों से निवेदन किया कि आगामी नव वर्ष के शुभ अवसर पर किसी जरूरतमंद को एक कम्बल दान कर मानवता की सेवा में अपना योगदान दें।

Humanity Support Initiative for an Abandoned Person in Critical Condition

Date: 2021

Location: Gauri Ganesh Temple Area, Uttarakhand

Samoon Foundation has always been committed to serving humanity and helping people who are neglected, helpless, and in urgent need of care. This incident is another example of compassion and responsibility towards society.

Around 11 days before this initiative, the Samoon team received information about a person lying in an extremely critical condition outside Ganesh Temple near Gauri. After receiving the information, the team immediately reached the location.

Local residents informed the team that the person had been lying there for the previous 4–5 days without food and water. When the team saw him, he was in an extremely serious condition, with only his breathing indicating that he was alive.

His condition was very distressing, and he urgently required medical attention and care. The Samoon team immediately took responsibility and shifted him to their treatment centre, where further care and treatment were started.

This initiative was not undertaken for publicity or recognition. The purpose behind sharing this incident was to remind society about the importance of humanity, compassion, and helping those who are unable to help themselves.

Through this effort, Samoon Foundation aims to encourage people to understand their responsibility towards fellow human beings and to awaken the spirit of kindness and service within society.

गणेश मंदिर के बाहर मिले असहाय व्यक्ति की मानव सेवा पहल

दिनांक: 2021

स्थान: गौरी गणेश मंदिर क्षेत्र, उत्तराखंड

समूण फाउंडेशन सदैव मानवता की सेवा और जरूरतमंद, असहाय एवं उपेक्षित लोगों की सहायता के लिए समर्पित रहा है। यह घटना भी मानवता, संवेदना और समाज के प्रति जिम्मेदारी का एक उदाहरण है।

लगभग 11 दिन पूर्व समूण समिति को सूचना मिली कि गौरी के पास गणेश मंदिर के बाहर एक व्यक्ति अत्यंत गंभीर अवस्था में पड़ा हुआ है। सूचना मिलते ही समिति के सदस्य तुरंत मौके पर पहुंचे।

वहां आसपास के लोगों ने बताया कि यह व्यक्ति पिछले 4–5 दिनों से बिना भोजन और पानी के उसी स्थान पर पड़ा हुआ था। जब समूण टीम ने उसे देखा तो उसकी स्थिति अत्यंत गंभीर थी और वह लगभग जीवन के अंतिम चरण में दिखाई दे रहा था, केवल उसकी सांसें चल रही थीं।

उस व्यक्ति की हालत बहुत खराब थी और उसे तत्काल देखभाल एवं उपचार की आवश्यकता थी। समूण टीम ने बिना समय गंवाए उसे अपने उपचार केंद्र पर पहुंचाया और उसके उपचार एवं देखभाल की जिम्मेदारी संभाली।

इस सेवा कार्य का उद्देश्य प्रसिद्धि प्राप्त करना नहीं था, बल्कि समाज के अंदर मानवता और संवेदनशीलता की भावना को जागृत करना था। आज के समय में जब कई बार लोग जरूरतमंदों की पीड़ा को नजरअंदाज कर देते हैं, ऐसे में यह प्रयास लोगों को अपनी सामाजिक जिम्मेदारी समझाने का एक माध्यम है।

समूण फाउंडेशन का उद्देश्य ऐसे कार्यों के माध्यम से लोगों को प्रेरित करना है कि वे जरूरतमंदों की सहायता के लिए आगे आएं और मानवता के मूल्यों को जीवित रखें।

 Samoon Sanstha’s ‘Swachh Bharat ki Pavitra Ganga’ campaign concluded successfully. Team Samoon thanks every volunteer who served with true devotion and helped clean the ghats along the Ganga. Our goal was not just to clean the banks, but to make people aware — to stop polluting Maa Ganga in the future. Real success comes only when every citizen takes ownership. This mission will continue until cleanliness becomes a public movement.

Saving the Soul of Bharat (भारत की पवित्र गँगा - स्वच्छता जागरुकता रैली व गँगा सफाई अभियान )

Ganga is not just a river, but the soul of Indian culture — known as Devnadi, Jahnavi, Vishnupada. Yet today, the same Ganga whose waters were once considered the purest is polluted by factory waste, drains, and garbage from our cities.  

On 31/01/2016, Samoon Foundation held a cleanliness awareness rally and Ganga cleaning drive at Triveni Ghat from 10 AM to 2 PM. We cleaned the ghats and appealed to every citizen: our villages, streets, cities, and workplaces must be kept clean. Only when we all join this mission can we truly build a Swachh Bharat and restore the purity of Maa Ganga.

31/01/2016 को समून फाउंडेशन ने त्रिवेणी घाट पर सुबह 10 से 2 बजे तक स्वच्छता जागरूकता रैली और गंगा सफाई अभियान चलाया। हमने घाटों की सफाई की और हर नागरिक से आग्रह किया: अपने गाँव, गली, मोहल्ले, शहर और कार्यस्थल को स्वच्छ बनाएं। जब तक हम सब इस अभियान से नहीं जुड़ेंगे, स्वच्छ भारत और पवित्र गंगा का सपना पूरा नहीं होगा।  

आओ मिलकर एक सुन्दर और स्वच्छ भारत का निर्माण करेँ और सपथ लेँ कि हम अपने घर, मुहल्ले, गाँव, गली, शहर और कार्य स्थल को स्वच्छ रखेँगे ।
