Around 11 days before this initiative, the Samoon team received information about a person lying in an extremely critical condition outside Ganesh Temple near Gauri. After receiving the information, the team immediately reached the location.
Local residents informed the team that the person had been lying there for the previous 4–5 days without food and water. When the team saw him, he was in an extremely serious condition, with only his breathing indicating that he was alive.
His condition was very distressing, and he urgently required medical attention and care. The Samoon team immediately took responsibility and shifted him to their treatment centre, where further care and treatment were started.
This initiative was not undertaken for publicity or recognition. The purpose behind sharing this incident was to remind society about the importance of humanity, compassion, and helping those who are unable to help themselves.

समूण फाउंडेशन सदैव मानवता की सेवा और जरूरतमंद, असहाय एवं उपेक्षित लोगों की सहायता के लिए समर्पित रहा है। यह घटना भी मानवता, संवेदना और समाज के प्रति जिम्मेदारी का एक उदाहरण है।
लगभग 11 दिन पूर्व समूण समिति को सूचना मिली कि गौरी के पास गणेश मंदिर के बाहर एक व्यक्ति अत्यंत गंभीर अवस्था में पड़ा हुआ है। सूचना मिलते ही समिति के सदस्य तुरंत मौके पर पहुंचे।
वहां आसपास के लोगों ने बताया कि यह व्यक्ति पिछले 4–5 दिनों से बिना भोजन और पानी के उसी स्थान पर पड़ा हुआ था। जब समूण टीम ने उसे देखा तो उसकी स्थिति अत्यंत गंभीर थी और वह लगभग जीवन के अंतिम चरण में दिखाई दे रहा था, केवल उसकी सांसें चल रही थीं।
उस व्यक्ति की हालत बहुत खराब थी और उसे तत्काल देखभाल एवं उपचार की आवश्यकता थी। समूण टीम ने बिना समय गंवाए उसे अपने उपचार केंद्र पर पहुंचाया और उसके उपचार एवं देखभाल की जिम्मेदारी संभाली।
इस सेवा कार्य का उद्देश्य प्रसिद्धि प्राप्त करना नहीं था, बल्कि समाज के अंदर मानवता और संवेदनशीलता की भावना को जागृत करना था। आज के समय में जब कई बार लोग जरूरतमंदों की पीड़ा को नजरअंदाज कर देते हैं, ऐसे में यह प्रयास लोगों को अपनी सामाजिक जिम्मेदारी समझाने का एक माध्यम है।
समूण फाउंडेशन का उद्देश्य ऐसे कार्यों के माध्यम से लोगों को प्रेरित करना है कि वे जरूरतमंदों की सहायता के लिए आगे आएं और मानवता के मूल्यों को जीवित रखें।
