After losing her husband in the Uttarakhand disaster, Beena Devi’s life was filled with immense challenges. The sudden loss of her husband brought a mountain of difficulties upon her, and she had to take responsibility for raising and educating her two children.
Understanding her situation, Samoon Foundation extended support by helping her establish a small shop and restaurant. This initiative provided her with a source of livelihood through which she is now able to manage her children’s education expenses and family needs.
This effort reflects Samoon Foundation’s commitment not only to providing immediate assistance but also to creating opportunities for sustainable living and self-dependence.

उत्तराखंड आपदा में पति की मृत्यु के बाद बीना देवी जी के जीवन में दुखों का पहाड़ टूट पड़ा था। पति के चले जाने के बाद उनके सामने अपने दो बच्चों के पालन-पोषण और उनकी शिक्षा की जिम्मेदारी एक बड़ी चुनौती बन गई थी।
समूण फाउंडेशन ने उनकी परिस्थितियों को समझते हुए एक छोटी सी दुकान एवं रेस्टोरेंट खोलने में सहयोग प्रदान किया। इस प्रयास के माध्यम से बीना देवी जी को आजीविका का एक साधन प्राप्त हुआ, जिससे वह अपने दोनों बच्चों की पढ़ाई का खर्च और परिवार का पालन-पोषण कर पा रही हैं।
