Samoon Foundation has always been dedicated to supporting helpless and underprivileged people who struggle to access proper medical care. The foundation believes that every person deserves compassion, dignity, and timely medical assistance during difficult times.
Daulat Ram Bhatt, a 31-year-old resident of Village Palipur Bharadar, District Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand, was living an extremely difficult life due to poverty and lack of family support. For the past two years, he had been suffering from continuous pus discharge near the rectal area, causing him severe pain and hardship.
Daulat Ram Ji worked as a bus conductor and was forced to spend most of his life in the bus itself. Due to having no family or support system, he endured his painful condition for years and managed his life with the help of painkillers.
On 15/11/2019, with the support of his acquaintances and Samoon Foundation, he was admitted to Himalayan Hospital, Jolly Grant, for treatment. After examination, the surgeon informed that he required a complicated surgery. The estimated cost of surgery, medicines, and dressing after the operation was approximately ₹50,000.
Samoon Foundation is pleased to share that Daulat Ram Ji successfully underwent surgery. Due to low blood levels, he was also provided with 2 units of blood. During the operation, a fistula was removed from his intestine, and the removed tissue was sent for detailed examination to understand the cause of its formation, chances of recurrence, and further treatment requirements.
At present, Daulat Ram Ji is stable and remains admitted in the hospital for further observation and treatment. It is hoped that after this surgery, he will finally receive relief from the unbearable pain he had been suffering from for the last two years and, with proper medicines and dressing, will be able to return to a normal life.
Although the complete amount required for his treatment had not yet been collected, Samoon Foundation remained confident that with the support of donors and well-wishers through social media platforms, the required funds would be arranged successfully.

ग्राम पलीपुर भरदार, जिला रुद्रप्रयाग, उत्तराखंड निवासी श्री दौलत राम भट्ट जी, उम्र 31 वर्ष, अत्यंत गरीब एवं असहाय परिस्थिति में जीवन यापन कर रहे थे। पिछले लगभग 2 वर्षों से वे मलत्याग करने वाले अंग के समीप से पस रिसाव की गंभीर समस्या से पीड़ित थे, जिसके कारण उन्हें लगातार अत्यंत पीड़ा और कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ रहा था।
दौलत राम जी बस में परिचालक के रूप में कार्य करते थे और कई बार बस में ही अपना जीवन व्यतीत करने को मजबूर थे। परिवार या किसी स्थायी मददगार के अभाव में वे अपनी पीड़ा को सहते हुए दर्द निवारक दवाइयों के सहारे किसी तरह जीवन व्यतीत कर रहे थे।
दिनांक 15/11/2019 को उनके परिचितों एवं समूण फाउंडेशन के सहयोग से उन्हें इलाज हेतु हिमालयन हॉस्पिटल, जौलीग्रांट में भर्ती करवाया गया। चिकित्सकों की जांच के बाद पता चला कि उन्हें एक जटिल ऑपरेशन की आवश्यकता है। ऑपरेशन, दवाइयों एवं ड्रेसिंग का अनुमानित खर्च लगभग ₹50,000 बताया गया।
समूण फाउंडेशन को यह बताते हुए प्रसन्नता है कि दौलत राम जी का सफलतापूर्वक ऑपरेशन किया गया। खून की कमी के कारण उन्हें 2 यूनिट ब्लड भी चढ़ाया गया। ऑपरेशन के दौरान उनकी आंत से फिस्टुला निकाला गया, जिसे आगे की जांच हेतु भेजा गया है। जांच के माध्यम से इसके बनने के कारण, भविष्य में दोबारा बनने की संभावना एवं आगे के इलाज की दिशा तय की जाएगी।
वर्तमान में दौलत राम जी की स्थिति स्थिर है और वे अस्पताल में भर्ती रहकर उपचार प्राप्त कर रहे हैं। आशा है कि इस ऑपरेशन के बाद उन्हें पिछले 2 वर्षों से चली आ रही असहनीय पीड़ा से राहत मिलेगी और कुछ महीनों की दवाइयों एवं ड्रेसिंग के बाद वे सामान्य जीवन जी सकेंगे।
हालांकि उनके संपूर्ण इलाज के लिए आवश्यक धनराशि अभी पूरी तरह एकत्रित नहीं हो पाई थी, लेकिन समूण फाउंडेशन को विश्वास है कि सभी दानदाताओं एवं शुभचिंतकों के सहयोग से उनके इलाज के लिए आवश्यक धनराशि जुटाई जा सकेगी।
