Priti Badoni was a bright student studying in Class 12 when a tragic accident changed her life. One day, while she had gone to collect grass, she accidentally fell from a tree while cutting grass. Due to a severe spinal cord injury, both her legs stopped functioning, and she became dependent on a wheelchair for mobility.
After this incident, Priti’s life became extremely challenging. With only her elderly father to support her and no mother, sister, or brother in the family, her world became limited to the small room from where she could move outside only with the help of a wheelchair.
Priti was engaged and had been an excellent student with many dreams and aspirations for her future. However, after the accident, her life took an unexpected turn and she was forced to face many hardships.
On 29/11/2019, the Samoon team visited Priti at her village Budkot, Post Office Laludikhal, near Hindolakhal, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. The team met her, understood her situation, and provided essential food supplies as immediate support.
Through this initiative, Samoon Foundation appealed to society to come forward with suggestions and support for Priti. The foundation wished to explore possibilities for better medical consultation and ways to help her live a more comfortable and independent life.
Samoon Foundation requested everyone to share Priti’s story and contribute towards spreading awareness so that possible help could reach her.
Those willing to provide financial support for Priti’s assistance were welcomed to contribute through Samoon Foundation.

प्रीती बडोनी जब कक्षा 12वीं में पढ़ती थीं, तब एक दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण घटना ने उनका जीवन पूरी तरह बदल दिया। एक दिन वह घास लेने गई थीं और घास काटते समय अचानक पेड़ से गिर गईं। इस दुर्घटना में उनकी स्पाइनल कॉर्ड में गंभीर चोट आई, जिसके कारण उनके दोनों पैरों ने काम करना बंद कर दिया।
इस घटना के बाद प्रीती का जीवन अत्यंत कठिन हो गया। वृद्ध पिता के अलावा उनके परिवार में कोई अन्य सहारा नहीं था। जिस कमरे से प्रीती व्हील चेयर के माध्यम से बाहर आती हैं, उनका जीवन उसी कमरे तक सीमित होकर रह गया।
प्रीती पढ़ाई में बहुत अच्छी थीं और उनके जीवन के लिए बड़े सपने और लक्ष्य थे। उनकी सगाई भी हो चुकी थी, लेकिन दुर्घटना के बाद परिस्थितियों ने उनके जीवन को पूरी तरह बदल दिया।
दिनांक 29/11/2019 को समूण टीम प्रीती बडोनी से मिलने उनके गांव बुडकोट, पोस्ट ऑफिस ललुडीखाल, निकट हिंडोलाखाल, टिहरी गढ़वाल पहुंची। टीम ने उनकी स्थिति को समझा और तत्काल सहायता के रूप में कुछ खाद्य सामग्री उपलब्ध करवाई।
इस अवसर पर समूण फाउंडेशन ने समाज के लोगों से अपील की कि प्रीती के बेहतर इलाज और जीवन को सरल बनाने के लिए सुझाव एवं सहयोग प्रदान करें। क्या प्रीती को किसी अच्छे अस्पताल में पुनः दिखाया जा सकता है? उनके बेहतर जीवन यापन के लिए हम सब मिलकर क्या प्रयास कर सकते हैं, इस विषय में संस्था ने सभी से सहयोग की अपील की।
समूण परिवार ने सभी लोगों से निवेदन किया कि प्रीती की कहानी को अधिक से अधिक साझा करें, ताकि जरूरत के समय उचित सहायता उन तक पहुंच सके।
