Samoon Foundation Supported Pritam Singh Bisht During His Fight Against Cancer

Samoon Foundation believes in standing with individuals and families during difficult times and making every possible effort to provide support in times of need.

On 2nd November 2021, Samoon Foundation received a request for medical assistance for Pritam Singh Bisht, a Class 12 student whose dream was to join the Indian Army and serve the nation.

Pritam had started preparing for his dream by regularly practicing running. However, one day while running, his health suddenly deteriorated. He was first taken to a nearby health centre and later referred to AIIMS Rishikesh, where medical examinations revealed that he was suffering from blood cancer.

At that time, Pritam was fighting a serious battle against cancer at AIIMS Rishikesh. His dream of serving the nation was deeply affected by his illness.

Pritam’s father, Mr. Jagmohan Singh Bisht Ji, worked as a daily wage labourer and supported his family. However, arranging the expenses required for such a serious illness was extremely difficult. Understanding the family’s situation, Samoon Foundation appealed to its donors and supporters to help Pritam’s treatment.

On 9th November 2021, members of the Samoon family provided a financial assistance cheque of ₹11,000/- at the hospital towards Pritam’s treatment.

A Painful Loss

On 26th November 2021, the Samoon family received the heartbreaking news that Pritam was no longer with us.

A young soul of only 17 years, carrying the dream and passion of serving the country, fought bravely but lost his battle with illness.

Samoon Foundation paid heartfelt tribute to Pritam and prayed to God to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the grieving family to bear this immense loss.

कठिन परिस्थितियों में जरूरतमंद लोगों के साथ खड़ा होना और हर संभव सहयोग करना समूण फाउंडेशन का निरंतर प्रयास रहा है।

दिनांक 02/11/2021 को प्रीतम के इलाज हेतु समूण फाउंडेशन को एक निवेदन पत्र प्राप्त हुआ।

कक्षा 12वीं में पढ़ने वाले प्रीतम सिंह बिष्ट का सपना था कि वह भारतीय सेना में भर्ती होकर देश सेवा करें। अपने इस सपने को पूरा करने के लिए प्रीतम ने दौड़ का अभ्यास भी शुरू कर दिया था।

एक दिन दौड़ते समय अचानक उनकी तबीयत खराब हो गई। उन्हें पहले नजदीकी स्वास्थ्य केंद्र ले जाया गया और बाद में ऋषिकेश एम्स में दिखाया गया, जहां जांच के बाद पता चला कि प्रीतम ब्लड कैंसर जैसी गंभीर बीमारी से पीड़ित हैं।

उस समय प्रीतम ऋषिकेश एम्स में कैंसर जैसी गंभीर बीमारी से संघर्ष कर रहे थे। बीमारी के कारण उनका देश सेवा का सपना अधूरा रह गया।

प्रीतम के पिता श्री जगमोहन सिंह बिष्ट जी दिहाड़ी मजदूरी करके परिवार का पालन-पोषण करते थे, लेकिन बेटे के इलाज के लिए आवश्यक बड़ी धनराशि जुटाना उनके लिए बहुत कठिन था।

परिवार की आर्थिक स्थिति को देखते हुए समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा सभी दानदाताओं एवं सहयोगकर्ताओं से प्रीतम के इलाज हेतु सहयोग की अपील की गई।

दिनांक 09/11/2021 को समूण परिवार के सदस्यों की ओर से प्रीतम के इलाज हेतु अस्पताल में ₹11,000/- की सहायता राशि का चेक प्रदान किया गया।

भावपूर्ण श्रद्धांजलि

दिनांक 26/11/2021 को अत्यंत दुखद समाचार प्राप्त हुआ कि प्रीतम अब हमारे बीच नहीं रहे।

मात्र 17 वर्ष की आयु में देश सेवा का सपना देखने वाले इस युवा ने जीवन और बीमारी के बीच लंबी लड़ाई लड़ी, लेकिन अंततः उनका निधन हो गया।

समूण परिवार की ओर से प्रीतम सिंह बिष्ट को अश्रुपूरित श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की गई। ईश्वर से प्रार्थना है कि दिवंगत आत्मा को अपने श्रीचरणों में स्थान दें और शोकाकुल परिवार को इस दुख को सहने की शक्ति प्रदान करें।
