Anil Lal, a bright student at Samoon Adarsh School, has completed classes 4 and 5 and is currently studying at "Gyan Jyoti School," residing in a hostel away from his village. Anil is dedicated to his studies and maintains 100% attendance in class. Five years ago, he lost his mother, and since then, his father has also lost his mental balance. Anil aspires to succeed in his studies so he can afford treatment for his father, as they are struggling financially and cannot manage either his education or his father's healthcare.

This year, Anil's hostel fees amounted to ₹16,200. The Samoon Foundation, alongside running its own school, has been providing scholarships to talented but underprivileged children for the past 12 years, helping hundreds of students so far. In this context, a scholarship of ₹16,200 has been transferred in Anil's name to his school.

The Samoon Family provided a small financial assistance check of ₹17,000 for the treatment

of Miss Bindi, who is bravely battling a serious illness like cancer.

Miss Bindi, a 12th-grade student from Andrapa, Gairsain, Chamoli Garhwal, is fighting a life- threatening illness at AIIMS Rishikesh. Her father passed away during her childhood, and her mother has been struggling to support the family with a widow's pension. The confirmation of Bindi's cancer diagnosis brought a heavy burden of sorrow upon the family.

Although Bindi is receiving treatment through an Ayushman card, the impoverished family does not have enough money for the travel expenses from Gairsain, room and food costs in Rishikesh, and for medications. Upon learning about the Samoon Foundation through someone, her mother submitted an application at the organization’s office. The foundation took immediate action and provided a small assistance check of ₹17,000 on February 12, 2024, assuring further support as needed.
