Successful tree plantation drive by Samoon Foundation (समूण परिवार द्वारा 1000 वृक्षोँ का सफलतापुर्वक वृक्षारोपण )

                    *Successful Tree Plantation Drive by Samoon Foundation*  

*Date: 25 July – 31 July, 2016*  

*Location: Munakhal, Saund, Andhyani Villages & Rishikesh, Uttarakhand*  

With the support of Samoon family members and local villagers, Samoon Foundation achieved its target of planting 1000 trees between 25 July and 31 July, 2016. The saplings included Jamun, Shehtoot, Anar, Aam, Baans, and Gular.  The plantation was carried out at Rajkiya Inter College Munakhal, Primary School Saund, and on private lands of residents in villages Andhyani and Saund. In Rishikesh, saplings were purchased from nurseries as per people’s preference and planted near their homes.  We heartily thank the teachers and students of Rajkiya Inter College Munakhal, teacher Mrs. Shikha of Primary School Saund, villagers of Saund, and residents of Sheesham Jhadi, Rishikesh for their full cooperation in making this campaign successful.

समून परिवार के सदस्यों एवं गाँव वासियों के सहयोग से समून फाउंडेशन ने 25 जुलाई से 31 जुलाई, 2016 तक 1000 वृक्ष लगाने के लक्ष्य को पूर्ण किया है। जिनमें जामुन, शहतूत, अनार, आम, बांस और गूलर इत्यादि प्रजातियों के पेड़ थे।  यह वृक्षारोपण राजकीय इंटर कॉलेज मुनाखाल, प्राथमिक विद्यालय सौड़, गाँव अंध्याणी और सौड़ गाँव में गाँव वासियों की निजी भूमि पर लगाया गया। साथ ही ऋषिकेश में लोगों की पसंद के अनुसार नर्सरी से वृक्ष खरीदे गये और उनके घरों के समीप लगाया गया।  इस अभियान में सम्पूर्ण परिवार को सहयोग करने के लिए राजकीय इंटर कॉलेज मुनाखाल के अध्यापकों एवं विद्यार्थियों, प्राथमिक विद्यालय सौड़ की अध्यापिका श्रीमती शिखा, सौड़ गाँव के गाँव वासियों एवं शीशम झाड़ी ऋषिकेश के निवासियों का तहेदिल से हार्दिक धन्यवाद।
