As the monsoon clouds gathered over Rishikesh on June 24, 2024, the Samoon Foundation
once again extended a gesture of compassion through its Annual Clothing Distribution
Campaign. More than 200 clothing items— including shirts, t-shirts, and kurtas— were
thoughtfully distributed to underprivileged families and individuals, off ering timely relief
and a sense of dignity ahead of the rainy season.
The initiative was rooted in the Foundation’s core belief that even small acts of service
can make a significant impact.
Vinod Jethudi, Founder of Samoon Foundation, reflected this ethos, stating,
“We may not be able to help everyone, but we can certainly try to help some.”
These words encapsulate the spirit behind the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to address the daily struggles of the underserved.
This annual campaign, executed through the dedication of Samoon’s committed team,
is far more than a distribution of clothing— it is an act of solidarity. In moments of
seasonal hardship, such efforts serve as tangible proof of the organization’s
unwavering commitment to social upliftment, fostering hope, dignity, and human connection
across vulnerable communities.
