Samoon Foundation Expands Reach: Winter Aid Warms Hearts at Sinwali Patal

On February 18, 2025, a crisp winter morning in Sinwali Patal, Tehri Garhwal, was

brightened by the compassionate eff orts of the Samoon Foundation. At the

Anganwadi Center of School No. 71 , children eagerly received warm sweaters, a

simple yet powerful gift shielding them from the harsh cold and encouraging regular

school attendance. The smiles and sparkling eyes of the little ones spoke volumes

about the confidence and comfort the Foundation’s support brought into their lives.

Mrs. Anita Mahar, the dedicated Chief Anganwadi Worker, warmly praised the

initiative, recognizing its tangible benefits for the children’s health and educational

enthusiasm. Meanwhile, Mr. Rajendra Singh Rangad, representing the Foundation,

interacted joyfully with the children, sharing important health and hygiene tips

through playful learning activities, making the day memorable and impactful.

This occasion marked a proud milestone for the Samoon Foundation — with over

6,50 0 sweaters distributed across more than 71 schools and Anganwadi centers,

their commitment to nurturing underprivileged children’s futures shines brighter than

ever. W ith ambitious eyes set on reaching 10,000 uniforms in over 100 schools by

March 31 , 20 25, the Foundation continues to sow seeds of warmth, confidence, and

2025, began like any other winter morning— quiet, cold, and wrapped in layers of

mist. But by mid- morning, the air had shifted, filled with laughter, color, and warmth as

the Samoon Foundation arrived under the leadership of Mr. Gajendra Singh Rana,

carrying with them not just clothes, but hope.




Children at the local Anganwadi Center gathered excitedly, their eyes lighting up as

they received cozy sweaters and pants. It wasn’t just a distribution— it was a

celebration. Mr. Shivram, the Village Head, watched the scene with a smile and

remarked that the initiative had “brought new hope to the village,

” uplifting not only

the children’s confidence but also their dignity as students. The gesture was more

than warmth— it was encouragement stitched into every thread.

Mrs. Beena Devi, the Anganwadi Worker, emphasized how crucial such timely support
