During the freezing cold of December and January, while we stayed warm at home in quilts and blankets, many poor people had to spend the night under the open sky. As a result, every year in North India, many people, especially small children and women, lost their lives due to the cold.  For the last 3 years, Samoon Foundation has been celebrating the New Year as “Blanket Distribution Program” and tried to bring some warmth to all the destitute with your cooperation.  

Instead of spending thousands of rupees on New Year parties, if we donate even one blanket to a needy person, the blessings we receive from them are priceless. That New Year becomes truly meaningful because blessings have great power.  
Come, let’s take a pledge this New Year to donate at least one blanket to a needy person. The cost of one blanket was ₹250/-. You could also donate the amount and we would purchase the blankets and deliver them to the needy on your behalf. That would truly be a meaningful New Year celebration.

दिसम्बर और जनवरी की कड़कड़ाती ठंड में जहाँ हम लोग अपने घरों में गरम कपड़ों को पहने हुए रजाई और कम्बलों में रहकर ठंड से बचते हैं, वहीं हमारे बीच में कुछ ऐसे भी लोग हैं जो खुले आसमान के नीचे रात गुजारने को मजबूर होते हैं। परिणामस्वरूप हर साल उत्तर भारत में सैकड़ों लोगों को कड़कड़ाती ठंड के कारण अपनी जान गवानी पड़ती है जिसमें छोटे-छोटे बच्चों और महिलाओं की संख्या अधिक होती है।  
सम्पूर्ण परिवार पिछले 3 सालों से लगातार नए वर्ष को “कम्बल वितरण कार्यक्रम” के रूप में मनाती है और आप सभी परमार्थी परमात्मा से सभी के कुशलता की कामना करती है।  
नए वर्ष के जश्न में जहाँ हम हजारों रुपये पार्टी में खर्च कर देते हैं, वहीं यदि हम किसी जरूरतमंद को एक कम्बल भेंट करें तो उस जरूरतमंद द्वारा मिली दुआओं के फलस्वरूप अवश्य ही हमारा नव वर्ष सुखमय होगा, क्योंकि दुआओं में बहुत शक्ति होती है।
