*₹16,000 has been transferred to the account of Mrs. Indu Devi, the wife of the late Gautam Bhandari Ji, who lost his life in a cloudburst.*

*Gautam Singh Bhandari*, a resident of *village Badal, Tehri Garhwal*, was working as a cook at a rafting camp when a sudden flood caused by a cloudburst swept him away while he was cooking on *August 7*. Some of his colleagues managed to save themselves, but Gautam did not get a chance to escape and fell victim to this calamity. After extensive searching, his body was found stuck in a tree about one and a half kilometers away.

Gautam Bhandari Ji leaves behind his *wife and an innocent two-and-a-half-year-old son*. The family now faces overwhelming challenges and worries about their future. *Mr. Hukam Singh Bhandari*, the former head of the village, has sent a request for help to the *Samoon Foundation*.

*बादल फटने से जान गंवाने वाले स्व. गौतम भंडारी जी की पत्नी श्रीमती इंदु देवी के खाते में ₹16,000 की राशि हस्तांतरित की गई है।*

*गौतम सिंह भंडारी*, निवासी *गांव बादल, टिहरी गढ़वाल*, एक राफ्टिंग कैंप में रसोइया के रूप में काम करते थे। *7 अगस्त* को बादल फटने से अचानक आई बाढ़ में वह खाना बनाते समय बह गए। उनके कुछ साथी खुद को बचाने में सफल रहे, लेकिन गौतम को बचने का मौका नहीं मिला और वे इस आपदा का शिकार हो गए। काफी खोजबीन के बाद उनका शव लगभग डेढ़ किलोमीटर दूर एक पेड़ में फंसा हुआ मिला।

गौतम भंडारी जी के पीछे उनकी *पत्नी और ढाई साल का मासूम बेटा* है। परिवार अब भारी चुनौतियों और भविष्य की चिंताओं का सामना कर रहा है। गांव के पूर्व प्रधान *श्री हुकुम सिंह भंडारी* ने *सम्पून फाउंडेशन* से सहायता के लिए अनुरोध भेजा है।
