On 5 May 2024, in the peaceful village of Baleshwar Chamyala, Tehri Garhwal, Samoon Foundation achieved another important milestone in its journey of rural empowerment with the inauguration of its 9th Samoon Skill Development Centre (SSDC-09).

The establishment of SSDC-09 represents more than just the opening of a training centre; it reflects the foundation’s continued commitment to empowering rural women by providing them with practical skills, opportunities for self-employment, and pathways towards economic independence and a better future.

The inauguration ceremony witnessed enthusiastic participation from local community members and social representatives, including Smt. Kavita Rani, Nagar Panchayat Member, and respected social workers Smt. Prati Joshi and Shri Hari. Representing Samoon Foundation, Regional Manager Shri Vikram Shah highlighted the organization’s continuous efforts and shared that the previous eight skill development centres have already positively impacted the lives of hundreds of women by providing skill-based training and opportunities for self-reliance.

The community welcomed the inauguration of SSDC-09 with great enthusiasm and expressed heartfelt gratitude towards Samoon Foundation for its continuous contribution towards social development. The centre was not seen merely as an institution but as a platform for transformation, offering women opportunities to enhance their livelihoods, gain confidence, and move towards financial independence.

Through initiatives like SSDC-09, Samoon Foundation continues its mission of empowering communities, promoting equality, and creating opportunities for a stronger and more self-reliant Uttarakhand.

5 मई 2024 को टिहरी गढ़वाल के शांत गांव बालेश्वर चमियाला में समून फाउंडेशन ने ग्रामीण सशक्तिकरण की अपनी यात्रा में एक और महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि हासिल करते हुए अपने 9वें समून स्किल डेवलपमेंट सेंटर (SSDC-09) का शुभारंभ किया।

SSDC-09 की स्थापना केवल एक प्रशिक्षण केंद्र की शुरुआत नहीं है, बल्कि यह ग्रामीण महिलाओं को व्यावहारिक कौशल, आत्मनिर्भरता के अवसर और आर्थिक सशक्तिकरण की दिशा में आगे बढ़ाने के समून फाउंडेशन के निरंतर प्रयासों का प्रतीक है।

उद्घाटन कार्यक्रम में स्थानीय समुदाय के लोगों और सामाजिक प्रतिनिधियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। कार्यक्रम में नगर पंचायत सदस्य श्रीमती कविता रानी, समाजसेवी श्रीमती प्रीति जोशी एवं श्री हरि सहित कई गणमान्य लोग उपस्थित रहे। समून फाउंडेशन के क्षेत्रीय प्रबंधक श्री विक्रम शाह ने संस्था के निरंतर प्रयासों पर प्रकाश डालते हुए बताया कि इससे पहले स्थापित आठ स्किल डेवलपमेंट सेंटरों के माध्यम से सैकड़ों महिलाओं के जीवन में सकारात्मक परिवर्तन आया है, जहां उन्हें कौशल प्रशिक्षण और आत्मनिर्भर बनने के अवसर प्रदान किए गए हैं।

SSDC-09 के शुभारंभ का ग्रामीण समुदाय ने उत्साहपूर्वक स्वागत किया और समाज सेवा के क्षेत्र में समून फाउंडेशन के निरंतर योगदान के लिए आभार व्यक्त किया। यह केंद्र केवल एक संस्था नहीं बल्कि बदलाव का माध्यम है, जो महिलाओं को बेहतर आजीविका, आत्मविश्वास और आर्थिक स्वतंत्रता की दिशा में आगे बढ़ने का अवसर प्रदान करेगा।
