Samoon Foundation reaffirmed its commitment towards student welfare by revisiting Government Primary School – Badir, Tehri Garhwal, on 19 November 2024, to distribute warm sweaters among economically disadvantaged students. This follow-up initiative reflects the Foundation’s long-term vision of supporting children’s education by addressing their essential needs and creating a comfortable learning environment.

Earlier, the Foundation had supported the students of the school by providing tracksuits to encourage physical activity and participation in sports. Continuing this journey of care and support, the distribution of sweaters aimed to ensure that children remain warm, healthy, and comfortable during the winter months, enabling them to attend school regularly and concentrate better on their studies.

The school’s Headmistress, Mrs. Shashi Bhatt, and Assistant Teacher, Mrs. Neema Bhatt, expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards Samoon Foundation and appreciated the positive impact of such initiatives on students’ education and overall development. Local community members, including Mr. Harendra Bhandari and Mr. Matwar Singh, also praised the Foundation’s efforts and recognized this support as a meaningful contribution towards building a brighter future for children.

समून फाउंडेशन ने विद्यार्थियों के कल्याण के प्रति अपनी प्रतिबद्धता को आगे बढ़ाते हुए दिनांक 19 नवंबर 2024 को पुनः राजकीय प्राथमिक विद्यालय – बदीर, टिहरी गढ़वाल का दौरा किया और आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर विद्यार्थियों को गर्म स्वेटर वितरित किए। यह पहल बच्चों की शिक्षा को बेहतर बनाने के लिए उनकी मूलभूत आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करने की संस्था की दीर्घकालिक सोच को दर्शाती है।

इससे पहले भी समून फाउंडेशन द्वारा विद्यालय के सभी विद्यार्थियों को ट्रैकसूट वितरित किए गए थे, ताकि बच्चों में शारीरिक गतिविधियों और खेलों के प्रति रुचि को बढ़ावा मिल सके। इसी सहयोग को आगे बढ़ाते हुए स्वेटर वितरण का उद्देश्य सर्दियों के मौसम में बच्चों को गर्माहट और सुविधा प्रदान करना था, जिससे वे नियमित रूप से विद्यालय आ सकें और अपनी पढ़ाई पर बेहतर ध्यान केंद्रित कर सकें।

विद्यालय की प्रधानाध्यापिका श्रीमती शशि भट्ट एवं सहायक अध्यापिका श्रीमती नीमा भट्ट ने समून फाउंडेशन के इस प्रयास के लिए हृदय से आभार व्यक्त किया। उन्होंने कहा कि इस प्रकार की सहायता विद्यार्थियों के भविष्य और उनके समग्र विकास में सकारात्मक भूमिका निभाती है। स्थानीय समुदाय के सदस्यों श्री हरेंद्र भंडारी एवं श्री मटवार सिंह ने भी इस पहल की सराहना की और इसे बच्चों के सर्वांगीण विकास की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण योगदान बताया।

इस पहल के माध्यम से समून फाउंडेशन शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में अवसरों और सुविधाओं की कमी को दूर करने का निरंतर प्रयास कर रहा है। संस्था का विश्वास है कि सेवा, संवेदनशीलता और समर्पण के साथ किए गए छोटे-छोटे प्रयास भी बच्चों और समाज के जीवन में गहरा एवं स्थायी परिवर्तन ला सकते हैं।
