Samoon Foundation extended its uniform distribution campaign to Government Primary School – Gorthi Kanda, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, on 20 November 2024. As part of its mission to provide winter support to 4,000 children by December 2024, the Foundation distributed warm sweaters to students, helping protect their health and ensuring that cold weather does not interrupt their education.

This initiative reflects Samoon Foundation’s commitment towards creating a supportive learning environment by addressing children’s basic needs along with promoting access to education. By providing essential winter clothing, the Foundation aims to encourage regular school attendance and help students continue their academic journey with comfort and confidence.

School Headmaster Mr. Virendra Pundir appreciated the Foundation’s efforts and shared that such initiatives play an important role in the physical and mental development of children. He highlighted that the sweater distribution campaign would help protect students during the winter season and motivate them towards education.

Parents also expressed their gratitude and acknowledged the positive impact of this initiative in increasing children’s enthusiasm and confidence towards learning. The Foundation’s approach continues to focus on two important objectives—supporting children’s education and fulfilling their essential requirements, which are key steps towards strengthening rural communities.

With the inclusion of Gorthi Kanda, Samoon Foundation successfully reached students in 33 schools and moved closer to its goal of reaching 50 schools. Each sweater distributed represents more than just warmth; it reflects care, equality, compassion, and the strength of collective support.

समून फाउंडेशन ने अपने यूनिफॉर्म वितरण अभियान को आगे बढ़ाते हुए दिनांक 20 नवंबर 2024 को उत्तराखंड के टिहरी गढ़वाल स्थित राजकीय प्राथमिक विद्यालय – गोर्थी कांडा में स्वेटर वितरण कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया। दिसंबर 2024 तक 4,000 बच्चों तक शीतकालीन सहायता पहुंचाने के अपने लक्ष्य के अंतर्गत संस्था द्वारा विद्यार्थियों को गर्म स्वेटर वितरित किए गए, ताकि ठंड के मौसम में उनका स्वास्थ्य सुरक्षित रहे और उनकी शिक्षा निरंतर जारी रह सके।

यह पहल समून फाउंडेशन के उस उद्देश्य को दर्शाती है, जिसमें बच्चों की शिक्षा को बेहतर बनाने के साथ-साथ उनकी मूलभूत आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करना भी शामिल है। गर्म कपड़े उपलब्ध कराकर संस्था बच्चों को नियमित रूप से विद्यालय आने और आत्मविश्वास के साथ अपनी पढ़ाई जारी रखने के लिए प्रोत्साहित कर रही है।

विद्यालय के प्रधानाध्यापक श्री वीरेंद्र पुंडीर जी ने समून फाउंडेशन के इस प्रयास की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि बच्चों के शारीरिक और मानसिक विकास के लिए इस प्रकार की पहल अत्यंत प्रेरणादायक है। उन्होंने बताया कि स्वेटर वितरण अभियान सर्दियों के मौसम में बच्चों की सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगा।

अभिभावकों ने भी इस पहल की सराहना की और कहा कि इस प्रकार के सहयोग से बच्चों में शिक्षा के प्रति उत्साह और आत्मविश्वास बढ़ता है। समून फाउंडेशन का यह प्रयास शिक्षा के अवसरों को बढ़ाने के साथ-साथ बच्चों की आवश्यक जरूरतों को पूरा करने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है, जो ग्रामीण समुदायों के विकास में सहायक है।

गोर्थी कांडा विद्यालय को शामिल करने के साथ ही समून फाउंडेशन अब तक 33 विद्यालयों के विद्यार्थियों तक पहुंच चुका है और 50 विद्यालयों के लक्ष्य की ओर निरंतर आगे बढ़ रहा है। वितरित किया गया प्रत्येक स्वेटर केवल गर्माहट का साधन नहीं, बल्कि देखभाल, समानता, मानवता और सामूहिक सहयोग की भावना का प्रतीक है।
