The Samoon Foundation extended its uniformdistribution campaign to Government Primary School, GorthiKanda, in TehriGarhwal, Uttarakhand. As part of its mission to reach 4,000 children by December 2024, the initiative brought essential winter sweaters to students, helping safeguard their health and sustain their academic engagement during the cold season. Schoolheadmaster Mr. Virendra Pundir praised the initiative, stating, “This step by the Samoon Foundation is inspiring for the development of children, both physica ly and mentaly. This sweater distribution campaign wilensure the safety of children during winter.” Parents echoed this sentiment, acknowledging the initiative’s impact in boosting children’s enthusiasmtoward education. The Foundation’s approach continues to emphasize the dualgoals ofensuring access to education and meeting children's fundamentalneeds— key pilars in uplifting rural communities. With GorthiKanda included, the Foundation has now successfuly reached students in 33 schools, moving steadily toward its target of 50 schools.
