The Samoon Foundation furthered its mission to empower rural students by distributing warmsweaters to children at Government Primary School, Nakot, TehriGarhwal, Uttarakhand. The initiative aligns with the Foundation’s twin goals: to protect students fromharsh winter conditions and to inspire consistent schoolattendance through the provision of basic essentials. Headmaster Mr. Rakesh Kumar lauded the Foundation’s efforts, remarking, “This initiative is profoundly inspiring for the physical and mental development of children. Providing sweaters in winter not only safeguards their health but also ensures educational continuity.” School Management Committee President Mrs. Sunita Devi echoed this sentiment, ca ling the campaign “a highly commendable contribution to strengthening education and socialprogress in ruralcommunities.” Parents present at the event noted that receiving such basic necessities boosts students’ morale and deepens their interest in learning. The Samoon Foundation remains steadfast in its objective: to encourage education by meeting students’ core needs and ensuring that no child’s potentialis hindered due to a lack of resources.
