Samoon Foundation continued its mission of empowering rural students by distributing warm sweaters to children at Government Primary School – Nakot, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, on 20 November 2024. This initiative was part of the Foundation’s ongoing winter support campaign aimed at protecting students from harsh weather conditions and encouraging regular school attendance by providing essential necessities.
Through this effort, Samoon Foundation reaffirmed its belief that education becomes stronger when children’s basic needs are addressed. By ensuring warmth and comfort during the winter season, the Foundation aims to create a positive learning environment where students can focus on their studies without facing seasonal challenges.
School Headmaster Mr. Rakesh Kumar appreciated the Foundation’s efforts and highlighted the importance of such initiatives in supporting the physical and mental development of children. He shared that providing sweaters during winter not only protects students’ health but also helps maintain continuity in their education.
School Management Committee President Mrs. Sunita Devi also praised the campaign and described it as a valuable contribution towards strengthening education and social development in rural communities. Parents present during the event expressed their gratitude and shared that receiving such essential support increases students’ confidence, motivation, and interest in learning.

समून फाउंडेशन ने ग्रामीण विद्यार्थियों को सशक्त बनाने के अपने उद्देश्य को आगे बढ़ाते हुए दिनांक 20 नवंबर 2024 को उत्तराखंड के टिहरी गढ़वाल स्थित राजकीय प्राथमिक विद्यालय – नकोट में बच्चों को गर्म स्वेटर वितरित किए। यह पहल संस्था के शीतकालीन सहायता अभियान का हिस्सा थी, जिसका उद्देश्य बच्चों को ठंड के कठिन मौसम से सुरक्षा प्रदान करना और आवश्यक सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराकर उनकी विद्यालय में नियमित उपस्थिति को प्रोत्साहित करना था।
इस पहल के माध्यम से समून फाउंडेशन ने यह संदेश दिया कि शिक्षा को मजबूत बनाने के लिए बच्चों की मूलभूत आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करना भी अत्यंत आवश्यक है। सर्दियों के दौरान बच्चों को गर्माहट और सुविधा प्रदान कर संस्था एक ऐसा वातावरण तैयार करने का प्रयास कर रही है, जहां विद्यार्थी बिना किसी बाधा के अपनी पढ़ाई पर ध्यान केंद्रित कर सकें।
विद्यालय के प्रधानाध्यापक श्री राकेश कुमार जी ने समून फाउंडेशन के इस प्रयास की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि इस प्रकार की पहल बच्चों के शारीरिक और मानसिक विकास में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती है। उन्होंने बताया कि सर्दियों में स्वेटर उपलब्ध कराना न केवल बच्चों के स्वास्थ्य की सुरक्षा करता है, बल्कि उनकी शिक्षा की निरंतरता बनाए रखने में भी सहायक है।
विद्यालय प्रबंधन समिति की अध्यक्ष श्रीमती सुनीता देवी जी ने भी इस अभियान की प्रशंसा करते हुए इसे ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में शिक्षा और सामाजिक विकास को मजबूत करने की दिशा में एक सराहनीय योगदान बताया। कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित अभिभावकों ने भी संस्था के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया और कहा कि इस प्रकार की आवश्यक सहायता से बच्चों का मनोबल बढ़ता है तथा उनकी पढ़ाई के प्रति रुचि और उत्साह में वृद्धि होती है।
समून फाउंडेशन बच्चों की मूलभूत आवश्यकताओं को पूरा कर शिक्षा को प्रोत्साहित करने और यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए निरंतर कार्यरत है कि संसाधनों की कमी किसी भी बच्चे की क्षमता और सपनों में बाधा न बने। ऐसे मानवीय प्रयासों के माध्यम से संस्था ग्रामीण बच्चों के बेहतर भविष्य के निर्माण की दिशा में निरंतर आगे बढ़ रही है।
