Samoon Foundation further strengthened its commitment towards inclusive education by distributing warm sweaters to children at the Anganwadi Center in Bhutsi, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, on 21 November 2024. This initiative focused on protecting young learners from the winter cold while promoting health, early education, and regular attendance in early childhood care settings.
The sweater distribution was led by Samoon Foundation representative Mr. J. P. Chamoli, who shared the vision behind the initiative and highlighted that such efforts are meaningful steps towards improving children’s health and encouraging them towards education. By fulfilling basic needs at an early stage, the Foundation aims to create a stronger foundation for children’s overall growth and development.
Chief Anganwadi Worker Mrs. Rajeshwari Devi appreciated the initiative and described it as an excellent example of social service. Assistant Worker Mrs. Lovely Devi also acknowledged the positive impact of the campaign, stating that the distribution would help protect children’s health during winter and encourage their regular participation in Anganwadi activities.
The event witnessed active participation from local parents and villagers, who expressed their appreciation for Samoon Foundation’s thoughtful support. Their response reflected the importance of such community-focused initiatives in strengthening children’s well-being and educational journey.

समून फाउंडेशन ने समावेशी शिक्षा के प्रति अपनी प्रतिबद्धता को आगे बढ़ाते हुए दिनांक 21 नवंबर 2024 को उत्तराखंड के टिहरी गढ़वाल स्थित भुत्सी आंगनवाड़ी केंद्र में बच्चों को गर्म स्वेटर वितरित किए। इस पहल का उद्देश्य छोटे बच्चों को सर्दियों की ठंड से सुरक्षा प्रदान करना और प्रारंभिक बाल देखभाल केंद्रों में उनके स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा एवं नियमित उपस्थिति को बढ़ावा देना था।
स्वेटर वितरण कार्यक्रम का नेतृत्व समून फाउंडेशन के प्रतिनिधि श्री जे. पी. चमोली जी ने किया। उन्होंने इस पहल के उद्देश्य को साझा करते हुए कहा कि बच्चों के स्वास्थ्य को बेहतर बनाने और उन्हें शिक्षा के प्रति प्रेरित करने की दिशा में यह एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है। संस्था का मानना है कि बच्चों की प्रारंभिक आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करना उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य और संपूर्ण विकास की मजबूत नींव तैयार करता है।
मुख्य आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्ता श्रीमती राजेश्वरी देवी जी ने इस पहल की सराहना करते हुए इसे समाज सेवा का एक उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण बताया। सहायक कार्यकर्ता श्रीमती लवली देवी जी ने भी इस अभियान के प्रभाव को रेखांकित करते हुए कहा कि स्वेटर वितरण से बच्चों को सर्दियों में स्वास्थ्य सुरक्षा मिलेगी और आंगनवाड़ी केंद्र में उनकी नियमित सहभागिता को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।
कार्यक्रम में स्थानीय अभिभावकों और ग्रामीणों की सक्रिय भागीदारी रही। उन्होंने समून फाउंडेशन के इस संवेदनशील प्रयास का स्वागत किया और बच्चों के हित में किए जा रहे कार्यों के लिए संस्था के प्रति आभार व्यक्त किया।
