Samoon Foundation continued its ambitious mission of distributing uniforms to 4,000 children by reaching the Mini Anganwadi Center in Saur, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, on 7 November 2024. As part of this initiative, sweaters were distributed to young learners to provide warmth and comfort during the approaching winter season while supporting the Foundation’s broader vision of promoting inclusive and holistic early childhood education.

The initiative aimed to ensure that young children from rural communities could attend their learning centers comfortably without being affected by the challenges of cold weather. By addressing basic needs such as warm clothing, Samoon Foundation continues to create a supportive environment where children can focus on learning and overall development.

Anganwadi workers Mrs. Kiran Devi and Mrs. Anita Devi expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards Samoon Foundation and appreciated the importance of this initiative, as protection from cold weather plays a significant role in children’s regular attendance and well-being. Local residents, including Mr. Yashpal Jethudi, Mr. Ganesh Jethudi, Mr. Rishi Jethudi, and Mr. Suresh Rawat, also praised the Foundation’s efforts and acknowledged its positive impact on the community.

On this occasion, Samoon Foundation representative Mr. Vijendra Kumar shared that the organization’s mission goes beyond academic education—it focuses on nurturing children’s growth and development from the earliest stages of life.

सौर मिनी आंगनवाड़ी केंद्र में स्वेटर वितरण अभियान

समून फाउंडेशन ने 4,000 बच्चों को यूनिफॉर्म उपलब्ध कराने के अपने महत्वाकांक्षी लक्ष्य को आगे बढ़ाते हुए दिनांक 7 नवंबर 2024 को उत्तराखंड के टिहरी गढ़वाल स्थित सौर मिनी आंगनवाड़ी केंद्र में स्वेटर वितरण अभियान आयोजित किया। इस पहल के अंतर्गत छोटे बच्चों को गर्म स्वेटर वितरित किए गए, ताकि सर्दियों के मौसम में उन्हें आराम और सुरक्षा मिल सके तथा वे नियमित रूप से अपनी प्रारंभिक शिक्षा जारी रख सकें।

इस अभियान का उद्देश्य ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के छोटे बच्चों की मूलभूत आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करते हुए उनके लिए एक बेहतर और सहयोगी शैक्षणिक वातावरण तैयार करना था। समून फाउंडेशन का मानना है कि शिक्षा केवल पढ़ाई तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि बच्चों के संपूर्ण विकास के लिए उन्हें आवश्यक सुविधाएं और सुरक्षित वातावरण प्रदान करना भी उतना ही महत्वपूर्ण है।

आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्ता श्रीमती किरण देवी एवं श्रीमती अनीता देवी ने समून फाउंडेशन के इस मानवीय प्रयास के लिए आभार व्यक्त किया। उन्होंने कहा कि ठंड के मौसम में बच्चों को गर्म कपड़े उपलब्ध कराना उनकी उपस्थिति, स्वास्थ्य और शिक्षा के लिए अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है। स्थानीय निवासियों श्री यशपाल जेठुड़ी, श्री गणेश जेठुड़ी, श्री ऋषि जेठुड़ी एवं श्री सुरेश रावत ने भी इस पहल की सराहना करते हुए इसे समाज के लिए एक सकारात्मक प्रयास बताया।

इस अवसर पर समून फाउंडेशन के प्रतिनिधि श्री विजेंद्र कुमार ने कहा कि संस्था का उद्देश्य केवल तकनीकी या औपचारिक शिक्षा तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि बच्चों के जीवन के शुरुआती चरणों से ही उनके शारीरिक, मानसिक और सामाजिक विकास को मजबूत करना है।
