Dressing for Success –Samoon Foundation’s Uniform Distribution Drive for Educational Equity

On July 5, 2024, the Samoon Foundation took a meaningful stride toward educational equity with the launch of Phase 1 of its school uniform distribution campaign. The initiative began at Swami Shivanand Memorial Government Primary School, located in Muni Ki Reti, where sports uniforms were distributed to students. This eff ort marks the beginning of abroader mission to support 2,000 economically disadvantaged yet high- achieving students across multiple schools.

These uniforms represent more than just attire— they serve as symbols of inclusion and equality, helping to eliminate visible socio- economic disparities, boost student confidence, and foster commitment to academic pursuits. By addressing such a practical yet impactful need, the campaign enhances both dignity and morale in the school environment.Mrs. Rajni Mangai, Headmistress of the school, expressed heartfelt gratitude, noting that the initiative not only uplifts students’ spirits but also offers much- needed financialrelief to their families
