On July 5, 2024, the Samoon Foundation took a meaningful stride toward educational equity
with the launch of Phase 1 of its school uniform distribution campaign. The initiative began
at Swami Shivanand Memorial Government Primary School, located in Muni Ki Reti, where
sports uniforms were distributed to students. This eff ort marks the beginning of a
broader mission to support 2,000 economically disadvantaged yet high- achieving students
across multiple schools.
These uniforms represent more than just attire— they serve as symbols of inclusion and
equality, helping to eliminate visible socio- economic disparities, boost student confidence, and
foster commitment to academic pursuits. By addressing such a practical yet impactful
need, the campaign enhances both dignity and morale in the school environment.
Mrs. Rajni Mangai, Headmistress of the school, expressed heartfelt gratitude, noting
that the initiative not only uplifts students’ spirits but also off ers much- needed financial
relief to their families. W ith the active engagement of its volunteers and staff , the
Samoon Foundation has once again demonstrated its enduring dedication to student
empowerment and community upliftment.
This ongoing program affirms the Foundation’s belief that every child deserves the
resources to succeed, and that even a simple school uniform can be the first step
toward a brighter, more equitable future.
