Samoon Foundation continued its commitment towards educational equity by organizing a uniform distribution drive at Government Primary School No. 41, Daunr, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, on 10 December 2024. As part of this initiative, warm sweaters were distributed among students to protect them from the harsh winter conditions and help them continue their studies with comfort and focus.

The initiative was led by Samoon Foundation representative Mr. Raju Bhatt, who shared the Foundation’s broader vision of providing uniforms to more than 4,000 students across 50 schools by the end of December 2024. Through such efforts, the Foundation aims to reduce barriers in education and create equal opportunities for children in rural communities.

School Headmistress Mrs. Kiran Gaur expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the initiative and highlighted that such support not only protects students’ health during winter but also strengthens their confidence and sense of inclusion.

School Management Committee Chairperson Mrs. Sushma Devi appreciated the deeper impact of the campaign and shared that such meaningful efforts help bridge the educational gaps faced by children living in remote areas.

The program witnessed active participation from teachers, parents, and local residents, all of whom praised Samoon Foundation’s dedication towards inclusive development and child welfare.

Through these focused interventions, Samoon Foundation continues to work towards reducing disparities in rural education and ensuring that no child is left behind due to a lack of basic resources. समून फाउंडेशन ने शिक्षा में समानता के अपने उद्देश्य को आगे बढ़ाते हुए दिनांक 10 दिसंबर 2024 को उत्तराखंड के पौड़ी गढ़वाल स्थित राजकीय प्राथमिक विद्यालय संख्या 41, दौनर में यूनिफॉर्म वितरण अभियान आयोजित किया। इस पहल के अंतर्गत विद्यार्थियों को गर्म स्वेटर वितरित किए गए, ताकि वे सर्दियों के कठिन मौसम से सुरक्षित रह सकें और अपनी पढ़ाई पर बेहतर ध्यान केंद्रित कर सकें।

इस अभियान का नेतृत्व समून फाउंडेशन के प्रतिनिधि श्री राजू भट्ट जी ने किया। उन्होंने संस्था के व्यापक उद्देश्य के बारे में जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि दिसंबर 2024 के अंत तक 50 विद्यालयों के 4,000 से अधिक विद्यार्थियों तक यूनिफॉर्म पहुंचाने का लक्ष्य निर्धारित किया गया है। इस प्रकार के प्रयासों के माध्यम से संस्था ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के बच्चों के लिए शिक्षा में आने वाली बाधाओं को कम करने का प्रयास कर रही है।

विद्यालय की प्रधानाध्यापिका श्रीमती किरण गौर जी ने इस पहल के लिए समून फाउंडेशन का आभार व्यक्त किया। उन्होंने कहा कि इस प्रकार की सहायता न केवल सर्दियों में बच्चों के स्वास्थ्य की रक्षा करती है, बल्कि उनमें आत्मविश्वास और समानता की भावना को भी मजबूत करती है।

विद्यालय प्रबंधन समिति की अध्यक्ष श्रीमती सुषमा देवी जी ने इस अभियान के व्यापक प्रभाव को बताते हुए कहा कि ऐसे प्रयास दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों में रहने वाले बच्चों के सामने आने वाली शैक्षणिक असमानताओं को कम करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं।

कार्यक्रम में शिक्षकों, अभिभावकों और स्थानीय निवासियों की सक्रिय भागीदारी रही। सभी ने समून फाउंडेशन के समावेशी विकास और बाल कल्याण के प्रति समर्पण की सराहना की।
