Date - Wednesday, 10 December 2024

On December 10, 2024, the Samoon Foundation advanced its commitment to

educational equity through a uniform distribution drive at Government Primary School

No. 41 , Daunr, in Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. Warm sweaters were distributed to

students, ensuring their protection against the harsh winter and helping them remain

focused on their studies.

Mr. Raju Bhatt, a representative of the Samoon Foundation, led the initiative and

shared the organization's broader vision: to distribute uniforms to over 4,0 0 0

students across 50 schools by the end of December 20 24. Mrs. Kiran Gaur, the

school's Headmistress, expressed heartfelt appreciation, stating that the initiative not

only safeguards students’ health but also instills in them a sense of confidence and

inclusion.

Mrs. Sushma Devi, Chairperson of the School Management Committee, emphasized

the deeper impact, noting that such eff orts help bridge the educational divide faced

by children in remote regions. The program saw active participation from teachers,

parents, and local residents, all of whom commended the Foundation's dedication to

inclusive development.

Through such targeted interventions, the Samoon Foundation continues to bridge

disparities in rural education— ensuring that no child is left behind due to lack of basic

resources
