Winter Warmth for Learning: Samoon Foundation Reaches Khabliseera

On December 30, 2024, the Samoon Foundation advanced its widespread uniform

distribution campaign by providing free warm sweaters to students at Government

Primary School, Khabliseera, in the remote region of  Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. This

initiative is a vital eff ort to shield children from the winter chill while fostering

consistent school attendance and academic focus.

Mrs. Ekadashi Rana Devi, the school's Headmistress, emphasized the initiative's

significance: “These sweaters will help protect children from the cold and ensure

continuity in their education, also aiding their focus in the classroom.

” Echoing this

sentiment, Assistant Teacher Mrs. Jaysheela Sajwan expressed heartfelt gratitude,

noting the critical value of such support for students in geographically isolated

schools.Mrs. Vimla Devi, Chairperson of the School Management Committee, remarked that

the initiative has “strengthened both trust in and appreciation for the Foundation,”

reinforcing its reputation for meaningful community engagement.

The Samoon Foundation remains steadfast in its mission to promote education andholistic development for children in underserved areas. Through this thoughtful initiative in Khabliseera, the Foundation continues to ensure that no child’s learning

journey is hindered by environmental or economic hardship.
