Sweater Distribution Drive at Government Primary School – Bidakot

Samoon Foundation continued its mission of educational empowerment by distributing free warm sweaters to students at Government Primary School – Bidakot, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, on 2 December 2024. This initiative was a part of the Foundation’s ongoing uniform distribution campaign, aimed at ensuring uninterrupted education for rural children by addressing an essential need—protection from the winter cold.
The initiative received widespread appreciation from the school community. School Management Committee President Mrs. Ritu Ji highlighted the dual impact of this effort, stating that the distribution of sweaters not only protects children from harsh weather conditions but also enhances their confidence and encourages greater participation in school activities.
Supporting this sentiment, Committee Secretary Mr. R. Nautiyal appreciated the initiative and shared that such assistance during the winter season plays an important role in improving students’ health and regular attendance. Parents and local residents also expressed their gratitude and acknowledged the positive contribution of this effort towards children’s well-being and educational continuity.
With the inclusion of Government Primary School – Bidakot, Samoon Foundation successfully extended its sweater distribution campaign to 38 schools, moving closer to its goal of providing uniforms to more than 4,000 students across 50 schools by 31 December 2024.
Through such meaningful initiatives, Samoon Foundation continues to create a supportive educational environment where no child is held back due to the lack of basic resources. The Foundation remains committed to empowering rural students and helping them pursue education with dignity, confidence, and equal opportunities.

राजकीय प्राथमिक विद्यालय – बिड़ाकोट में स्वेटर वितरण अभियान

समून फाउंडेशन ने शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में सशक्तिकरण के अपने उद्देश्य को आगे बढ़ाते हुए दिनांक 2 दिसंबर 2024 को उत्तराखंड के टिहरी गढ़वाल स्थित राजकीय प्राथमिक विद्यालय – बिड़ाकोट में विद्यार्थियों को निःशुल्क गर्म स्वेटर वितरित किए। यह पहल संस्था द्वारा चलाए जा रहे निरंतर यूनिफॉर्म वितरण अभियान का हिस्सा थी, जिसका उद्देश्य ग्रामीण बच्चों की शिक्षा को बिना किसी बाधा के जारी रखने में सहायता करना और सर्दियों से सुरक्षा जैसी आवश्यक जरूरत को पूरा करना था।
इस पहल को विद्यालय परिवार एवं समुदाय से व्यापक सराहना प्राप्त हुई। विद्यालय प्रबंधन समिति की अध्यक्ष श्रीमती रितु जी ने इस अभियान के दोहरे प्रभाव को बताते हुए कहा कि समून फाउंडेशन द्वारा स्वेटर वितरण न केवल बच्चों को ठंड से सुरक्षा प्रदान करता है, बल्कि उनके आत्मविश्वास और विद्यालय में सहभागिता को भी बढ़ाता है।
समिति के सचिव श्री आर. नौटियाल जी ने भी इस प्रयास की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा कि सर्दियों के मौसम में इस प्रकार की सहायता विद्यार्थियों के स्वास्थ्य और नियमित उपस्थिति को बेहतर बनाने में अत्यंत लाभकारी है। अभिभावकों और स्थानीय निवासियों ने भी संस्था के इस कार्य की सराहना की और बच्चों के स्वास्थ्य एवं शिक्षा की निरंतरता के लिए इसे एक महत्वपूर्ण योगदान बताया।
राजकीय प्राथमिक विद्यालय – बिड़ाकोट को शामिल करने के साथ ही समून फाउंडेशन का यह अभियान अब 38 विद्यालयों तक पहुंच चुका है और 31 दिसंबर 2024 तक 50 विद्यालयों के 4,000 से अधिक विद्यार्थियों को यूनिफॉर्म उपलब्ध कराने के लक्ष्य के और करीब पहुंच गया है।
इस प्रकार के सार्थक प्रयासों के माध्यम से समून फाउंडेशन ऐसा शैक्षणिक वातावरण तैयार करने के लिए निरंतर कार्यरत है, जहां कोई भी बच्चा आवश्यक संसाधनों के अभाव में पीछे न रह जाए। संस्था ग्रामीण विद्यार्थियों को सम्मान, आत्मविश्वास और समान अवसरों के साथ आगे बढ़ाने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है।
