Samoon Foundation continued its impactful outreach in the hills of Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand, by distributing warm sweaters to children at Khola Naveen on 17 December 2024. This thoughtful initiative was a part of the Foundation’s larger mission to remove barriers to education by addressing the basic needs of students, especially during the challenging winter season.
The initiative aimed to provide warmth and comfort to children while ensuring that cold weather does not affect their regular attendance and learning process. By supporting students with essential winter clothing, Samoon Foundation continues to create a positive and encouraging environment for education in remote areas.
School Headmistress Mrs. Lakshmi Negi appreciated the initiative and highlighted that this support not only protects children from the cold but also improves their confidence and morale. School Management Committee Chairperson Mrs. Sapna Devi described the assistance as a “blessing” for underprivileged families who face difficulties in arranging warm clothing during winter. She emphasized that such support directly contributes to children’s ability to continue their education.
Assistant Teacher Mrs. Suman Painuly also praised the initiative, describing it as both inspiring and essential for strengthening the educational future of children living in remote regions.
Parents present during the event expressed their heartfelt appreciation for Samoon Foundation’s timely and compassionate efforts. They recognized the program as an excellent example of education-focused social service aimed at supporting underserved communities.

समून फाउंडेशन ने पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों में अपनी सेवा और सहयोग की पहल को आगे बढ़ाते हुए दिनांक 17 दिसंबर 2024 को उत्तराखंड के टिहरी गढ़वाल स्थित खोला नवीन में बच्चों को गर्म स्वेटर वितरित किए। यह संवेदनशील पहल संस्था के उस व्यापक उद्देश्य का हिस्सा है, जिसके अंतर्गत बच्चों की मूलभूत आवश्यकताओं को पूरा कर शिक्षा में आने वाली बाधाओं को दूर करने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है, विशेषकर सर्दियों के कठिन मौसम में।

विद्यालय की प्रधानाध्यापिका श्रीमती लक्ष्मी नेगी जी ने इस पहल की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि यह सहयोग न केवल बच्चों को ठंड से सुरक्षा प्रदान करता है, बल्कि उनके आत्मविश्वास और मनोबल को भी बढ़ाता है। विद्यालय प्रबंधन समिति की अध्यक्ष श्रीमती सपना देवी जी ने इस सहायता को जरूरतमंद परिवारों के लिए एक “आशीर्वाद” बताया, जिन्हें सर्दियों में गर्म कपड़ों की व्यवस्था करने में कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ता है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस प्रकार का सहयोग बच्चों की शिक्षा को निरंतर जारी रखने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाता है।
सहायक अध्यापिका श्रीमती सुमन पैन्यूली जी ने भी इस पहल की सराहना करते हुए इसे प्रेरणादायक और दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों के बच्चों के शैक्षणिक भविष्य को मजबूत करने के लिए आवश्यक बताया।
