On December 11 , 2024, the Samoon Foundation continued its mission of supporting
rural education by distributing warm sweaters to students at Government Primary
School No. 42, Tungoli, Nakot Cluster, U ttarakhand. This initiative was designed to
shield children from the biting winter cold while ensuring their uninterrupted
participation in academic life.
The school's Principal, Mr. Dinesh Chandra Dangwal, lauded the initiative, describing
it as “inspirational for the entire community.
” Mrs. Vinita Devi, Chairperson of the
School Management Committee, reflected on the emotional impact, noting,
“The
smiles on the children’s faces speak volumes— this support directly enhances theireducation and overall well- being.
” Assistant T eacher Mrs. Navita Chauhan
emphasized the necessity of such eff orts, stating that warm clothing plays a vital role
in maintaining students' attendance and learning continuity during winter months.
The program witnessed enthusiastic involvement from parents, teachers, and
community members, all expressing appreciation for the Foundation’s compassionate
outreach. Through initiatives like this, the Samoon Foundation reinforces its
commitment to educational equity— ensuring that no child is left behind due to a lack
of basic resources.
