On December 10, 2024, the Samoon Foundation extended its winter relief initiative to
the Anganwadi Center in Bunga, Pauri Garhwal, U ttarakhand, distributing warm
sweaters to children aged 3 to 6 years. This eff ort reflects the Foundation’s ongoing
commitment to nurturing the health, comfort, and early education of young learners in
rural communities.
Mrs. Anju Devi, the Anganwadi worker, expressed heartfelt gratitude, stating,
“The Samoon Foundation’s continuous focus on child welfare is commendable. Providing
sweaters in winter not only safeguards children's health but also boosts their confidence and inspires them to pursue their goals.
” Parents warmly welcomed theinitiative, recognizing it as a crucial step toward securing a brighter future for children in remote areas.
Mr. Raju Bhatt, representing the Samoon Foundation, actively engaged with families
and shared insights into the organization’s broader mission of promoting holistic
development and educational access. He reaffirmed the Foundation’s target to
distribute uniforms to 4,000 children across 50 schools by the end of December
2024. By addressing both immediate needs and long- term educational goals, the Samoon
Foundation continues to build a solid foundation for the next generation— one warm
sweater at a time.
