On the request of Mrs. Indu Bhandari, teacher at Government Primary School, Saud, Samoon Foundation has taken a significant step by adopting the school. The aim is to develop it into the region’s first Digital School by providing modern educational tools and resources.

In the first phase of this initiative, the following equipment and learning materials have been provided to the school:

7. Vegetable & Fruit Copying Kit

Samoon Foundation will continuously monitor the academic progress of the students. If the students meet expectations and excel in their studies, bringing recognition to the school, the foundation will move to the second phase. In the next phase, Samoon will extend further support to develop this institution into a Model School at a larger scale.

राजकीय प्राथमिक विद्यालय, सौड की अध्यापिका श्रीमती इंदु भंडारी जी के निवेदन पर समूण परिवार ने इस विद्यालय को गोद लेने का निर्णय लिया है। इसका उद्देश्य आधुनिक शिक्षा के उपकरण उपलब्ध कराते हुए इस विद्यालय को क्षेत्र का पहला डिजिटल स्कूल बनाना है।

समूण टीम द्वारा विद्यार्थियों की प्रगति की निरंतर निगरानी की जाएगी। यदि विद्यार्थी अपेक्षाओं के अनुरूप उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करते हैं और विद्यालय का नाम रोशन करते हैं, तो दूसरे चरण में इस विद्यालय को बड़े स्तर पर मॉडल स्कूल के रूप में विकसित करने हेतु समूण परिवार पूर्ण सहयोग प्रदान करेगा।

यह पहल शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में आधुनिकता लाने और बच्चों को सशक्त बनाने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है।

*Tree Guard Installation Initiative*

*Location: Saudpani to Munna Khal – Chamunda Devi Road, Uttarakhand*

As part of its ongoing environmental conservation efforts, Samoon Foundation installed a total of 23 tree guards along the roadside from Saudpani to Munna Khal towards Chamunda Devi.

These tree guards have been placed to protect the saplings and ensure their healthy growth into fully developed trees. This initiative reflects the commitment not only to plant trees but also to nurture and safeguard them for the future.

We sincerely hope that these protected saplings will grow into strong trees and contribute to a greener environment.

*ट्री गार्ड स्थापना पहल*

*स्थान: सौडपानी से मुन्नाखाल – चामुंडा देवी मार्ग, उत्तराखंड*

पर्यावरण संरक्षण के अपने प्रयासों के अंतर्गत समूण परिवार द्वारा सौडपानी से मुन्नाखाल – चामुंडा देवी मार्ग के किनारे कुल 23 ट्री गार्ड लगाए गए।

इन ट्री गार्डों का उद्देश्य पौधों की सुरक्षा करना तथा उनके स्वस्थ विकास को सुनिश्चित करना है, ताकि ये पौधे भविष्य में मजबूत वृक्ष बन सकें।

हमें आशा है कि इन ट्री गार्डों में लगाए गए पौधों को हम सफलतापूर्वक पेड़ों में परिवर्तित कर पाएंगे और यह प्रयास पर्यावरण को हरित बनाने में योगदान देगा।

“Our Bond with Trees” – Tree Plantation Program, Phase 3 – 2018(पेडोँ से है रिश्ता हमारा" वृक्षारोपण कार्यक्रम - तीसरा चरण - 2018)

*Tree Plantation Drive – Phase 3 & Campaign Completion*

*Location: Vivek Vihar, Jwalapur, Haridwar, Uttarakhand*

With the successful completion of the third phase on 29/07/2018 at Vivek Vihar, Jwalapur (Haridwar), Samoon Foundation concluded its annual Tree Plantation Drive, which was carried out in three phases.

Under this year’s plantation initiative:

• Phase 1 (13/07/2018): Plantation was conducted at Omkarananda Saraswati Government Degree College, Devprayag.

• Phase 2 (22–23/07/2018): Plantation activities were carried out at Government Inter College Munna Khal, Primary School Saud, Village Sakni, and nearby areas.

• Phase 3 (29/07/2018): Plantation was successfully conducted at Vivek Vihar, Jwalapur, Haridwar.

The final phase witnessed the presence and support of several respected members of society:

• Sri Ramakrishna – Retired Executive Engineer

• Sri R.K. Malhotra – Social Worker

• Dr. N.C. Trehan – Renowned Environmentalist & Secretary, RWA

• Sri Gujral – Chief Manager, PNB

*वृक्षारोपण कार्यक्रम – तृतीय चरण एवं समापन*

*दिनांक: 29 जुलाई 2018*

*स्थान: विवेक विहार, ज्वालापुर, हरिद्वार, उत्तराखंड*

दिनांक 29/07/2018 को विवेक विहार, ज्वालापुर (हरिद्वार) में तृतीय चरण के सफल आयोजन के साथ समूण फाउंडेशन का इस वर्ष का वृक्षारोपण अभियान सम्पन्न हुआ, जिसे तीन चरणों में पूर्ण किया गया।

इस वर्ष के अभियान के अंतर्गत:

• प्रथम चरण (13/07/2018): ओंकारानंद सरस्वती राजकीय महाविद्यालय, देवप्रयाग में वृक्षारोपण किया गया।

• द्वितीय चरण (22–23/07/2018): राजकीय इंटरमीडिएट कॉलेज मुन्नाखाल, प्राथमिक विद्यालय सौड़, ग्राम साकनी एवं आसपास के क्षेत्रों में वृक्षारोपण किया गया।

• तृतीय चरण (29/07/2018): विवेक विहार, ज्वालापुर, हरिद्वार में वृक्षारोपण किया गया।

अंतिम चरण में समाज के कई सम्मानित व्यक्तियों की उपस्थिति रही:

Continuing towards the target of planting 1000 trees, Samoon Foundation successfully carried out the second phase of its Tree Plantation Drive on 22/07/2018 with the support of local villagers and Samoon volunteers. The plantation was conducted in Village Saud and Sakni.

The campaign was further extended on 23/07/2018 to multiple locations including Primary School Saud, Primary School Sakni, and Government Inter College Munna Khal. Along with plantation, tree guards were also installed to ensure the safety and proper growth of the saplings.

Earlier, in the first phase held on 13/07/2018, Samoon Foundation, Ganga Prahari, and the Forest Department jointly organized a plantation drive at Omkarananda Saraswati Government Degree College, Devprayag. The initiative received active participation and support from students, faculty members, and the local community.

*वृक्षारोपण कार्यक्रम – द्वितीय चरण*

*दिनांक: 22–23 जुलाई 2018*

*स्थान: ग्राम सौड, साकनी एवं मुन्नाखाल क्षेत्र, देवप्रयाग, उत्तराखंड*

समूण परिवार के 1000 पौधों के लक्ष्य की दिशा में द्वितीय चरण में दिनांक 22/07/2018 को गाँववासियों एवं समूण टीम के स्वयंसेवकों के सहयोग से ग्राम सौड एवं साकनी में वृक्षारोपण कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया।

यह अभियान दिनांक 23/07/2018 को आगे बढ़ाते हुए प्राथमिक विद्यालय सौड, प्राथमिक विद्यालय साकनी तथा राजकीय इंटरमीडिएट कॉलेज मुन्नाखाल सहित विभिन्न स्थानों पर वृक्षारोपण किया गया। पौधों की सुरक्षा एवं उचित वृद्धि के लिए ट्री गार्ड भी लगाए गए।

इससे पूर्व प्रथम चरण में दिनांक 13/07/2018 को समूण फाउंडेशन, गंगा प्रहरी एवं वन विभाग की टीमों द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से ओंकारानंद सरस्वती राजकीय महाविद्यालय, देवप्रयाग में वृक्षारोपण किया गया था, जिसमें छात्र-छात्राओं, गुरुजनों एवं क्षेत्रीय जनता का सराहनीय सहयोग प्राप्त हुआ।

Helping the Needy Is Our Mission(जरुरतमॅँद की मदद ही हमारा मकसद)

*Humanity First – Immediate Help to a Stranger*

*Location: Devprayag – Srinagar (NH-58), Uttarakhand*

Samoon Foundation has always believed in serving humanity and continuously strives to support those in need. On the morning of 14 July 2018, a man was seen walking on foot along National Highway 58 from Devprayag towards Srinagar.

Samoon family members Arvind Jiyal and Arvind King approached him to understand his situation. It was revealed that his wallet had been stolen, leaving him without money for food or transportation. Due to this unfortunate incident, he was मजबूर to walk all the way to his destination.

Demonstrating compassion and humanity, both student members of Samoon Foundation extended immediate help by contributing from their own pocket money. They arranged his bus fare to Srinagar and also provided him with food.

This small act of kindness reflects the true spirit of humanity — helping someone in distress without expecting anything in return.

“Some people choose wrongdoing as a way of life, causing pain to others for their own comfort. But one must remember that one day, there will be accountability for every action.”

*मानवता की मिसाल – एक जरूरतमंद की सहायता*

*दिनांक: 14 जुलाई 2018*
*स्थान: देवप्रयाग – श्रीनगर (राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग 58), उत्तराखंड*

समूण परिवार सदैव मानवता की सेवा में विश्वास रखता है और जरूरतमंदों की सहायता के लिए निरंतर प्रयासरत रहता है। दिनांक 14 जुलाई 2018 की सुबह देवप्रयाग से श्रीनगर राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग 58 पर एक व्यक्ति पैदल चलते हुए दिखाई दिया।

समूण परिवार के सदस्य श्री अरविंद जियाल एवं अरविंद किंग ने पास जाकर जब उनसे बात की, तो ज्ञात हुआ कि उनका पर्स चोरी हो गया है। इस कारण उनके पास न तो भोजन के लिए पैसे थे और न ही बस का किराया देने के लिए, जिससे वे अपने गंतव्य तक पैदल जाने को मजबूर थे।

समूण परिवार के इन दोनों छात्र सदस्यों ने मानवता का परिचय देते हुए अपने जेब खर्च से उस व्यक्ति का श्रीनगर तक का किराया दिया तथा भोजन कराकर उसकी सहायता की।

यह छोटी सी सहायता मानवता की सच्ची भावना को दर्शाती है — बिना किसी स्वार्थ के जरूरतमंद की मदद करना।

“चोरी-चकारी, लूट-लपेटी कुछ लोगों का पेशा बन गया है,
जो दूसरों को कष्ट देकर स्वयं आराम करते हैं।
पर यह मत भूलो कि एक दिन उस अदालत में हिसाब होगा,
जहां हर कर्म का लेखा-जोखा लिखा जा चुका है।”
