As part of the ongoing campaign to provide free masks, sanitizers, oximeters, and ration kits to needy people across the Garhwal and Kumaon regions of Uttarakhand, Samoon Foundation continued its COVID-19 relief efforts.

On 22nd May 2021, Samoon Foundation distributed masks, sanitizers, and oximeters free of cost among the residents of Daldhar Akhori.

Along with the distribution of essential safety supplies, villagers were also made aware of COVID-19 prevention measures, necessary precautions, and the importance of following health guidelines to protect themselves and their community.

On 21st May 2021, Samoon Foundation provided free support to poor, helpless, widowed women, and needy families in Gram Panchayat Saud Patti Bhilang, Ghansali, Tehri Garhwal.

As part of the COVID-19 relief initiative, ration kits, masks, sanitizers, oximeters, and other essential supplies were distributed to families facing difficulties during the pandemic.

The objective of this initiative was to support people so they could remain safely at home, help break the chain of infection, and protect themselves and their communities from COVID-19.

Along with material support, villagers were also made aware of coronavirus prevention measures, safety precautions, and the role each individual can play in making their village, state, and country safer during the pandemic.

During the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, many poor and helpless people, including those staying on roads and without proper shelter, faced difficulties in arranging regular meals.

Understanding this need, Samoon Foundation’s Dehradun team prepared and distributed food packets every day for around 100 people. These meals were provided to attendants of patients at Doon Hospital and Mahant Indiresh Hospital, as well as poor, helpless, and needy people living under open skies on the streets.

With time, the number of people requiring support continued to increase, and Samoon Foundation remained committed to ensuring that no one went hungry during this difficult period.

कोरोना महामारी की दूसरी लहर के दौरान कई गरीब, असहाय एवं बेबस लोगों के सामने भोजन की व्यवस्था करना एक बड़ी चुनौती बन गया था। सड़क किनारे खुले आसमान के नीचे रहने वाले जरूरतमंद लोगों को भी इस कठिन समय में सहायता की आवश्यकता थी।

इसी आवश्यकता को ध्यान में रखते हुए समूण फाउंडेशन की देहरादून टीम द्वारा प्रतिदिन लगभग 100 लोगों के लिए भोजन तैयार किया जा रहा था और वितरित किया जा रहा था।

यह भोजन दून हॉस्पिटल एवं महंत इंदिरेश हॉस्पिटल में मरीजों के साथ रहने वाले तीमारदारों के साथ-साथ सड़क पर रहने वाले गरीब, असहाय एवं जरूरतमंद लोगों तक पहुंचाया गया।

समय के साथ भोजन की आवश्यकता वाले लोगों की संख्या बढ़ती गई, लेकिन समूण परिवार ने मानव सेवा के इस कार्य को पूरी जिम्मेदारी और समर्पण के साथ जारी रखा।

कोरोना महामारी की दूसरी लहर के दौरान जहां लोग स्वास्थ्य संबंधी समस्याओं से जूझ रहे थे, वहीं अस्पतालों में भर्ती मरीजों के साथ रहने वाले तीमारदारों को भी भोजन की व्यवस्था करने में कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ रहा था।

इसी समस्या को ध्यान में रखते हुए समूण परिवार की समर्पित सदस्य श्रीमती वंदना रावत जी द्वारा एक सराहनीय पहल की गई। उन्होंने अपने घर पर प्रतिदिन लगभग 100 लोगों के लिए भोजन तैयार किया और उसे महंत इंदिरेश हॉस्पिटल, देहरादून में भर्ती मरीजों के तीमारदारों तक पहुंचाया।

वंदना जी का यह निःस्वार्थ प्रयास कठिन समय में जरूरतमंद परिवारों के लिए बड़ी सहायता साबित हुआ और मानवता की सेवा की भावना को दर्शाता है।

During the challenging period of the COVID-19 pandemic, Samoon Foundation continued its efforts to provide essential safety supplies to people in need across Uttarakhand.

On the request of renowned Uttarakhand folk artist Mr. Naveen Semwal Ji, popularly known for the famous song "Meri Bamani", essential COVID-19 safety items including masks, sanitizers, and an oximeter were provided to him.
