Samoon Foundation Distributed Food Packets to Poor and Helpless People in Dehradun During COVID-19

During the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, many poor and helpless people, including those staying on roads and without proper shelter, faced difficulties in arranging regular meals.
Understanding this need, Samoon Foundation’s Dehradun team prepared and distributed food packets every day for around 100 people. These meals were provided to attendants of patients at Doon Hospital and Mahant Indiresh Hospital, as well as poor, helpless, and needy people living under open skies on the streets.
With time, the number of people requiring support continued to increase, and Samoon Foundation remained committed to ensuring that no one went hungry during this difficult period.
The foundation appreciates the dedication of all volunteers and supporters who contributed to this humanitarian initiative.

कोरोना महामारी की दूसरी लहर के दौरान कई गरीब, असहाय एवं बेबस लोगों के सामने भोजन की व्यवस्था करना एक बड़ी चुनौती बन गया था। सड़क किनारे खुले आसमान के नीचे रहने वाले जरूरतमंद लोगों को भी इस कठिन समय में सहायता की आवश्यकता थी।
इसी आवश्यकता को ध्यान में रखते हुए समूण फाउंडेशन की देहरादून टीम द्वारा प्रतिदिन लगभग 100 लोगों के लिए भोजन तैयार किया जा रहा था और वितरित किया जा रहा था।
यह भोजन दून हॉस्पिटल एवं महंत इंदिरेश हॉस्पिटल में मरीजों के साथ रहने वाले तीमारदारों के साथ-साथ सड़क पर रहने वाले गरीब, असहाय एवं जरूरतमंद लोगों तक पहुंचाया गया।
समय के साथ भोजन की आवश्यकता वाले लोगों की संख्या बढ़ती गई, लेकिन समूण परिवार ने मानव सेवा के इस कार्य को पूरी जिम्मेदारी और समर्पण के साथ जारी रखा।
समूण फाउंडेशन सभी सम्मानित सदस्यों, स्वयंसेवकों एवं दानदाताओं का हृदय से आभार व्यक्त करता है, जिनके सहयोग से यह सेवा कार्य संभव हो पाया।
