During the second wave of COVID-19, Samoon Foundation continued its efforts to support rural communities and help prevent the spread of infection by providing essential safety materials.
On 30th May 2021, the Samoon Foundation team distributed masks and sanitizers among villagers of Gram Panchayat Katalnaud, Block Narendra Nagar, District Tehri Garhwal.
The initiative was carried out with the aim of helping break the chain of COVID-19 transmission and encouraging villagers to follow necessary safety precautions.
Samoon Foundation continued its mission to reach every village of Uttarakhand with support and awareness so that communities could overcome the challenges of the pandemic and contribute towards making the state and country safer.

कोरोना महामारी की दूसरी लहर के दौरान समूण फाउंडेशन द्वारा ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में संक्रमण की श्रृंखला को तोड़ने एवं लोगों को सुरक्षित रखने हेतु लगातार प्रयास किए जा रहे थे।
इसी क्रम में दिनांक 30/05/2021 को समूण फाउंडेशन की टीम द्वारा ग्राम पंचायत काटलनौडू, विकासखंड- नरेंद्र नगर, जिला- टिहरी गढ़वाल में ग्रामवासियों को मास्क एवं सैनिटाइजर वितरित किए गए।
इस पहल का उद्देश्य ग्रामीणों को कोरोना संक्रमण से बचाव हेतु आवश्यक सुरक्षा सामग्री उपलब्ध कराना और उन्हें सावधानियों के पालन के लिए प्रेरित करना था।
समूण फाउंडेशन का प्रयास था कि उत्तराखंड के प्रत्येक गांव तक सहायता एवं जागरूकता पहुंचाई जाए, ताकि सभी मिलकर कोरोना को हराकर राज्य और देश को सुरक्षित बना सकें।
