education and holistic child development by distributing free sports uniforms to

students at Government Primary School, Purwala, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. This

Mr. Vikram Lingwal, the school’s headmaster, warmly welcomed the Foundation team

education by distributing free T- shirts to students at Government Primary School,

Kundadhar, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. This initiative aimed not only to provide

From Darkness to Light: Samoon Foundation Illuminates Lives in Savani Village

On March 6, 2025, the Samoon Foundation brought a beacon of hope to nine families

in Savani village, Uttarkashi, who had been left homeless after a devastating fire on

January 26th. Forced to live in tents, these families faced long nights filled with

darkness and insecurity.

Though they had received rations, clothes, and essential aid from the community and

local authorities, their most heartfelt request was simple yet profound: “We just need

a light to step out of our tents at night, see our children, and feel safe.

” Hearing this the Foundation responded swiftly by providing rechargeable emergency lights, givingthese families a tangible way to overcome the night’s shadows and regain a sense of

security.

The Samoon Foundation reflected that while an emergency light may seem a small

gesture to many, for these families it marked a vital first step — from fear to safety,

helplessness to self- reliance, and darkness to light. The Foundation also expressed

deep gratitude to all donors and partners whose support made this life- changing aid

possible.

brightened by the compassionate eff orts of the Samoon Foundation. At the

Anganwadi Center of School No. 71 , children eagerly received warm sweaters, a

simple yet powerful gift shielding them from the harsh cold and encouraging regular

school attendance. The smiles and sparkling eyes of the little ones spoke volumes

about the confidence and comfort the Foundation’s support brought into their lives.

Mrs. Anita Mahar, the dedicated Chief Anganwadi Worker, warmly praised the
