Sponsor a child for education - Scholarship 2017-2018

     As part of our social and mankind activities we are doing various activities to support humanity in rural area of Uttarakhand. One of the important activities is to support underprivileged students in rural hilly area of Uttarakhand by providing annual scholarship.

     We have received list of more than 100 students who have applied for scholarship but out of these 41 students have been selected in the first batch for scholarship.

     You can help a child escape from the bonds of poverty through our sponsor programme. Child sponsorship connects you with a child in need. It lets you gift life-changing benefits to that child for a low monthly and yearly contribution. Your sponsor charity ensures that poverty doesn’t stand in the way of a child’s education.

     When you sponsor a child, you’re connected with one child who needs help and support to empower her/his to change her/his life. You may directly call the family on given mobile number to know the results of child or you may ask Samoon foundation to provide the same.

Blankets distribution to needy on 29.12.16 @ Risikesh

     As a part of social & mankind activities today on 29/12/2016 at midnight from 12 am to 3 am, the team members of Samoon Foundation distributed blankets to the poor & helpless people sleeping on roadsides under the open sky in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.

     Every year during the season of shivering cold in the months of December & January, the volunteers of SAMOON FOUNDATION along with some local residents visit in search of the needy people those are sleeping under the open sky in the coldest night and donate them warm clothes and blankets.

     The areas covered by team are Triveni Ghat, Muni ki Reti, Laxman Jhula, Ram Jhula, Railway station & Bus Station etc. The team found many needy people who were staying under the open sky and in this shivering cold weather, even they don't have enough clothes to cover their body. Team Samoon distribute the blankets & warm clothes to the such people. The team of volunteers also distribute blankets to the poor people and kids residing in slums.

       Every year we organise such activities with help of our donor who donate us for this noble cause which directly reach to needy persons through us.

Special thanks to Kamal Joshi ji & Narendra Maithani ji team member of samoon Foundation who have distributed the blankets to needy at midnight. 

Also thanks to Laxman Rawat ji for your donation of 18000/- Rupyees to purchase the new blankets.

19 Bags used clothes donated to Goonj Foundation

We have started campaign called "Woollens collection and distribution to needy" from 15 October 2016 in different cities of Uttarakhand. During this campaign many kind-heated people from Rishikesh, Dehradun & Haridwar came forward and donated used clothes to us. We had selected good clothes which are in good condition and recycled the same then distributed to needy people in Rishikesh on 17th December, 2016. But still we have more than 19 bag of used clothes were available with us which we have donated to "GOONJ FOUNDATION" in Rishikesh. Also cheque of INR 2100/- donated to Goonj Foundation. 

  Goonj Foundation is one of the top NGO in India who annually deal with over 3000 tons of materials. They recycle the clothes and make new items from it as attached with this email.

स्वर्गीय इन्द्रमणि बडोनी जी की 91 जन्मतिथि के अवसर पर गरिब बच्चोँ को कपडे एँव शिक्षा की सामग्री वितरित किये गए

आज दिनांक २४/१२/२०१६ को उत्तराखंड के गांधी, स्वर्गीय इन्द्रमणि बडोनी जी की 91 जन्मतिथि के अवसर पर समूण फाऊँडेशन द्वारा टीम सदस्य श्री नरेन्द्र मैठाणी जी के नेत्रत्व मे राजकिय प्रार्थमिक विध्यालय लालढाँग - हरिद्वार मे गरिब बच्चोँ को कपडे एँव शिक्षा की सामग्री जैसे कापी, पेंसिल आदि वितरित किए गये । इस अवसर पर ग्राम प्रधान श्री प्रताप सिँह लिँगवाळ एँव विध्यालय के शिक्षक व विध्यार्थी उपस्तिथ थे ।

टीम समूण द्वारा जरुरतमम्दो को गर्म् कपडे प्रदान किए गए

     समूण फाँउडेशन की टीम ने ऋषिकेश, हरिद्वार और देहरादून मे एक अभियान शुरु किया था जिसमे लोगोँ से निवेदन किया गया कि उनके घरोँ मे जितने भी गर्म कपडे है जो छोटे पड चुकेँ है या जिन्हे आप प्रयोग नही करते जरुरतमँँदो के लिए दान देँ । 15 अक्टुबर से 15 दिसम्बर तक सोसल मिडिया, प्रिंट मिडिया और पोस्टर एवँ बैनेरोँ माध्यम से हमने इस अभियान का प्रचार प्रसार किया ।
     तीनो शहरोँ से हमे लोगोँ का अपार सहयोग मिला और बडी सँख्या मे कनफरमेशन दिया तपश्चात हमने कपडोँ को एकत्रित करने के बाद रिसाईकल किया और कल दिनाँक 17/12/2016 को ऋषिकेश के स्लम एरिया मे जरुरतमँदो को वितरित किये । साथ ही टीम ने रात को ऋषिकेश शहर का भर्मण कर खुले आसमान के निचे सो रहे जरुरतमँदो को कँबल भी वितरित किये ।
     शायद हम इतनी बडी सँख्या मे जरुरतमँदो को मदद नही कर पाए लेकिन हमारा मकसद था कि लोगोँ को पुराने कपडे दान देने हेतु प्रेरित करेँ । कुछ लोग पुराने कपडॉ के बदले नयेँ बर्तन ईत्यादी खरिद लेते है या सिर्फ मात्र कुछ पैसोँ मे पुराने कपडे बेच देते है, यदि हम इसकी तुलना मे किसी जरुरतमँद को दान दे तो उससे शायद पैसे तो नही पर जो पुण्य मिलता है उसका कोई मोल नही ।
      समूण फाँऊडेशन मानवता को समर्पित एक सँस्था है जो कि मानवता की सेवा हेतु कार्यरत है ।
टीम समूण के निम्ंलिखित सदस्योँ के सहयोग से यह प्रोजेक्ट सफलतापुर्वक सम्पन्न हुआ ।

Request to donate old warm clothes & blankets for needy people

Many among India’s poor and underprivileged are forced to live under the open sky in the street in freezing weather of December & January. 

As many as 10,933 Indians (an average of 781 per year) have died over the past 14 years–between 2001 to 2014–due to “cold and exposure”, an analysis of statistics on accidental deaths due to natural causes obtained from the Open Government Data (OGD) Platform of Government of India reveals.

We all SAMOON members will heartily like to plead you all to donate some of your old clothes & blankets which are not been used by you so that we can donate them to needy people.

We welcome all kinds of clothing donations like warm winter coat that you’re not wearing anymore, clothes that your children have outgrown & Blankets which are in usable condition not only make their lives better but also promote the eco-friendly concept of recycling. What is waste for you is resource for the less fortunate. So instead of throwing away something, Donate it!

जरुरतमँदो के लिये पुराने कपडे दान करेँ ।

दिसम्बर और जनवरी की कडकडाती ठँड मे जँहा हम लोग अपने घरोँ मे गरम कपडो को पहने हुये रजाई और कम्बलोँ मे रहकर ठँड से बचते है, वँही हमारे बीच मे कुछ येसे भी लोग हैँ जो खुले आसमान के निचे रात गुजारने को मजबूर होते है परिणाम स्वरूप हर साल उत्तर भारत मे सैकडोँ लोगोँ को कडाके की ठँड के कारण अपनी जान गवानी पडती है जिनमे छोटे-छोटे बच्चोँ और महिलाओँ की सँख्या अधिक होती है ।

मनुष्य की तीन आधारभूत आवश्यकाताएँ होती हैं - रोटी, कपड़ा और मकान। रोटी और मकान अगर हम नही दे सकते तो घर मे पुराने या छोटे पड चुके कपडोँ को जरुरतमँदो के लिए दान करेँ ।

यदि आपके घर मे पुराने या छोटे पड चुके गर्म कपडेँ,कँबल या रजाई है जो कि प्रयोग मे नही है तो आप “समूण” सदस्योँ के लिखे नम्बरोँ पर व्ट्स अप या ईमेल के माध्यम से अपना नाम और पता भेज देँ हमारी टीम आपको सम्पर्क करेगी और आपसे यह सहयोग एकत्रित करके जरुरतमदोँ तक पहुँचायेगी ।
