On August 3, 2024, the Samoon Foundation advanced its uniform distribution
campaign to Government Primary School, Lwarka, in Tehri Garhwal. This fourteenth
day of the ongoing initiative marked another meaningful step in the Foundation’s
commitment to equipping students with essential educational resources and
reigniting enthusiasm for learning in rural communities. The visit was warmly received by students and faculty alike. Headmistress Jyotsana Semwal expressed deep appreciation, stating,
“This initiative has brought new energy to our children. They are experiencing a fresh beginning, which will further strengthen their self- confidence and dedication towards education.
” Assistant Teacher Kushal Singh Jardhari highlighted the psychological impact of the gesture, noting that uniforms instill pride and contribute to improved academic engagement.
Representing the Samoon Foundation, social worker Rajendra Singh Rangad
emphasized the larger vision behind the campaign: “Our objective is not just to
provide uniforms, but to off er children better educational opportunities so they can
realize their dreams. ” The event also drew participation from parents and local
community leaders, whose support underscored the program’s strong grassroots
resonance.
This outreach at Lwarka stands as another testament to the Samoon Foundation’s
unwavering commitment to social equity through education. Through such meaningful
