In August 20 24, Tilgarh village in U ttarakhand was severely impacted by destructive
landslides and floods, displacing numerous families and leaving them vulnerable.
Responding swiftly to the crisis, the Samoon Foundation launched a targeted relief
initiative on August 4, 20 24, distributing warm clothing to 60 children directlyaff ected by the disaster.
With many families forced into temporary shelters and facing the prospect of colder
months ahead, the Foundation identified a pressing need for proper clothing. Their
timely intervention provided both physical relief and emotional comfort, off ering
children a sense of normalcy amid turmoil. Through the collaborative eff orts of
dedicated volunteers and local partners, the initiative ensured efficient and
compassionate delivery of aid.
