In August 2024, Tilgarh village of Uttarakhand faced severe challenges due to destructive landslides and floods, causing displacement and hardship for many families. Responding to this difficult situation, Samoon Foundation initiated a relief effort on 04 August 2024 by distributing warm clothing to 60 children affected by the disaster.

With several families forced to move to temporary shelters and facing uncertainty during the upcoming colder months, the need for proper clothing became an urgent concern. Through this timely support, Samoon Foundation provided not only physical relief but also emotional comfort, helping children experience care and reassurance during a challenging period.

The initiative was carried out with the support of dedicated volunteers and local community members, ensuring that assistance reached the affected children efficiently and with compassion.

अगस्त 2024 में उत्तराखंड के तिलगढ़ गांव को विनाशकारी भूस्खलन और बाढ़ के कारण गंभीर कठिनाइयों का सामना करना पड़ा। इस आपदा से कई परिवार प्रभावित हुए और उन्हें विस्थापन तथा अनेक समस्याओं का सामना करना पड़ा। ऐसी विषम परिस्थिति में समून फाउंडेशन ने तुरंत पहल करते हुए 04 अगस्त 2024 को आपदा प्रभावित 60 बच्चों को गर्म वस्त्र वितरित किए।

कई परिवारों को अस्थायी स्थानों पर रहने के लिए मजबूर होना पड़ा और आने वाली ठंड को देखते हुए उचित कपड़ों की आवश्यकता एक गंभीर समस्या बन गई थी। समून फाउंडेशन के इस समय पर किए गए सहयोग ने बच्चों को केवल आवश्यक वस्त्र ही नहीं दिए, बल्कि कठिन समय में अपनापन, सुरक्षा और भावनात्मक सहारा भी प्रदान किया।

समर्पित स्वयंसेवकों और स्थानीय सहयोगियों के प्रयासों से यह सहायता अभियान सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हुआ और जरूरतमंद बच्चों तक सहायता प्रभावी एवं संवेदनशील तरीके से पहुंचाई गई।
