On 05 August 2024, Samoon Foundation continued its School Uniform Distribution Campaign by reaching Government Primary School, Semalta, in Tehri Garhwal. This marked the fifteenth day of the ongoing initiative, which aims to provide free uniforms to 4,000 students across Uttarakhand and promote equality in education.
The campaign focuses on creating a sense of belonging, confidence, and motivation among rural school children. By providing essential educational support, Samoon Foundation is working towards reducing visible differences among students and ensuring that every child receives equal opportunities to learn and grow.
The initiative was warmly welcomed by students, teachers, and parents. Headmistress Mrs. Manju Makhaloga expressed her happiness over the children’s excitement and shared, “We were very happy to see the smiles on the children's faces and their enthusiasm. This initiative will boost their self-esteem and motivation to come to school.”
Samoon Foundation member Mr. Sunil Saklani highlighted the inclusive vision behind the campaign, stating, “Our effort is to ensure that children in rural areas also receive the same facilities as those in urban settings.”
Parents also expressed their appreciation, acknowledging that such initiatives provide both practical assistance and emotional encouragement to children and families.
This uniform distribution campaign continues to reflect Samoon Foundation’s commitment towards educational access, equality, and social empowerment. Through consistent grassroots efforts, the Foundation is helping create a more inclusive learning environment and contributing towards the brighter future of children across Uttarakhand.

विद्यालय यूनिफॉर्म वितरण अभियान – राजकीय प्राथमिक विद्यालय सेमल्टा

05 अगस्त 2024 को समून फाउंडेशन ने अपने विद्यालय यूनिफॉर्म वितरण अभियान को आगे बढ़ाते हुए टिहरी गढ़वाल स्थित राजकीय प्राथमिक विद्यालय सेमल्टा में पहुंचकर विद्यार्थियों को यूनिफॉर्म वितरित की। यह अभियान का पंद्रहवां दिन था, जिसके अंतर्गत उत्तराखंड के 4,000 विद्यार्थियों को निःशुल्क यूनिफॉर्म उपलब्ध कराने का लक्ष्य रखा गया है।
इस अभियान का उद्देश्य ग्रामीण विद्यार्थियों में समानता, आत्मविश्वास, विद्यालय के प्रति जुड़ाव और शिक्षा के प्रति प्रेरणा की भावना को बढ़ावा देना है। आवश्यक शैक्षणिक सहयोग उपलब्ध कराकर समून फाउंडेशन विद्यार्थियों के बीच आर्थिक अंतर को कम करने और सभी बच्चों को समान अवसर प्रदान करने का प्रयास कर रहा है।
इस पहल का विद्यार्थियों, शिक्षकों और अभिभावकों ने हृदय से स्वागत किया। विद्यालय की प्रधानाध्यापिका श्रीमती मंजू मखलोगा ने बच्चों के चेहरों पर दिखाई देने वाली खुशी और उत्साह को देखकर प्रसन्नता व्यक्त करते हुए कहा, “बच्चों के चेहरों पर मुस्कान और उनका उत्साह देखकर हमें बहुत खुशी हुई। यह पहल उनके आत्मसम्मान और विद्यालय आने की प्रेरणा को बढ़ाएगी।”
समून फाउंडेशन के सदस्य श्री सुनील सकलानी ने अभियान के समावेशी उद्देश्य को स्पष्ट करते हुए कहा, “हमारा प्रयास है कि ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के बच्चों को भी वही सुविधाएं प्राप्त हों जो शहरी क्षेत्रों के बच्चों को मिलती हैं।”
अभिभावकों ने भी इस पहल की सराहना की और बताया कि ऐसे कार्यक्रम बच्चों एवं परिवारों को व्यावहारिक सहायता के साथ-साथ भावनात्मक प्रोत्साहन भी प्रदान करते हैं।
यह यूनिफॉर्म वितरण अभियान शिक्षा में समान अवसर, सामाजिक समानता और सशक्तिकरण के प्रति समून फाउंडेशन की निरंतर प्रतिबद्धता को दर्शाता है। जमीनी स्तर पर किए जा रहे ऐसे प्रयासों के माध्यम से फाउंडेशन उत्तराखंड के बच्चों के लिए एक बेहतर, समावेशी और उज्जवल भविष्य के निर्माण में योगदान दे रहा है।
