On August 20, 2024, the Samoon Excellence Coaching Center (SECC 02) in Mankatiya, Pithoragarh, became a vibrant hub of cultural celebration as students
observed Raksha Bandhan through a creative lens. The event featured an engaging
art activity where students crafted handmade paintings, each capturing the essence
of the cherished festival.
This initiative not only highlighted students’ artistic abilities but also deepened their
connection with the cultural values embedded in Raksha Bandhan— protection, love,
and familial bonds. Through their artwork, students reflected on these themes with
enthusiasm and originality. The celebration reaffirmed the Samoon Foundation’s
commitment to holistic education, extending beyond academics to nurture cultural
sensitivity and artistic growth. SECC 02 continues to serve as more than just a
coaching center; it is a dynamic learning environment where young minds are
empowered to express themselves across multiple dimensions, fostering well- rounded
personal development.
