On behalf of *Samoon Pariwar*, the goods for opening a shop for *Shri Laxman Singh* from *Diyala* have reached his village. Very soon Laxman Ji will start the shop and begin earning his livelihood.

Laxman Ji had asked us for some financial help. Instead of just giving financial aid, we decided to make him self-reliant by opening a grocery shop for him in his village, so that he can live his life easily through this shop.

लक्ष्मण जी ने हमसे कुछ आर्थिक सहायता मांगी थी तो हमने उन्हें आर्थिक सहायता देने की बजाय आत्मनिर्भर बनाने के लिए उन्हीं के गांव में उनके लिए एक परचून की दुकान खोली है ताकि वह इस दुकान के माध्यम से अपना जीवन आसानी से काट सकें।

The villagers of *Osala village* in Uttarkashi's border area say that "The situation before independence and today is the same because we have still not been able to live a life like humans. We are still deprived of the basic facilities that are to be provided as per the Indian Constitution, such as roads, electricity, education and health facilities etc."

From *April 2021*, *Samoon Foundation* is going to open a school in this village.

The smiling faces of the children and the happiness of the teachers and parents was beyond words. The kind of joy we experienced cannot be expressed in words.

Very soon, the renovation work of Vindotri Devi Ji's house will be completed and now she will not have to take shelter in others' houses during the rainy season.
